  1. thank god i didn't go. dumb bitch playing with our heads ! then again it was probably some rabid sensationalist lana fans spreading falsified information. like she probably literally said 'uh yea i'll be in brooklyn later tonight' and it somehow turned into this. frankly i'm surprised they didn't report that she was gonna perform the entirety of norman fucking rockwell
  2. I could literally be there in an hour but it’s $60 for a fucking 90 minute ‘show’ best case scenario she could start playing around 11:45 pm and I could get there at midnight but that’s a lot of maybes on my end for fucking $60. god can’t this bitch announce shit
  3. ugh I hate when she gets political because it’s literally like a melba toast version of political. azealia has a point in calling views somewhat vapid, i’m sorry to say like I appreciate her intent (if it’s for anything other than headlines) and frankly im surprised because I didn’t think she’d go against Kanye. she’s usually pretty mellow and non-confrontational so yea color me somewhat shocked and impressed / annoyed Kanye’s just a fucking massive troll, don’t people realize that by now?
  4. looks like something a meth addict would wear to 7-11 at 6 in the morning just to grab a much needed slurpee queen of thematic continuity
  5. no, it was a brand new code sent at 7am and i'm still confused i used it though, but i see you already got a ticket anyway =)
  6. i don't why or how but i found a presale code in my email (possibly from my last purchase for the anaheim show) hope everyone got their tix !
  7. how do you get presale codes? doesn't seem to be the same process as it was for the other california shows (where there was a purchase necessary). there's no info about this show on her official website so i'm like confused about how to access pre-sale tickets
  8. was anyone here there last night? almost had a damn heat stroke
  9. if anyone has a code that they're not going to / unable to use, i'd love to have it
  10. i wonder what she means by 'trying' - is it a nod to the lyrics, or is she trying her hand at homemade stuff again
  11. i think its "curls and corsets"; as if they were time-pieces associated with a certain kind of femininity; memorized / immortalized into a song (or ~ manifesto ~), into cultural paradigms of female submission / passivity plus, corsets are known for being tight and repressive, and she later sings 'get loose'. it makes sense given all the talk about the women's marches, not to mention the ~ political ~ title

"my celluloid seems to be torn at the seams" that would be incredibly scathing and self aware, so i dunno lmao EDIT: actually, its both incredibly scathing and self rewarding; tearing off whats unreal and shedding an old skin; only to then reveal a ~*~ lust for life ~*~ bitch !

    Your Girl

"lay me in a pile of down" (?) a pile of feathers, a pile of benzos
  14. "especially on tuesdays" -- the brilliant bitch
  15. whenever you upload "on our way" onto youtube, the copyright claim is for "heavier than heavenly" ... i don't remember the others but i know that there have been a few alternate titles, but those were for unreleased songs, not ~yet released songs (?) the architecture line is really stunning and interpretive but best american record is a far better title overall bitch!
  16. i kind of love the 'heck' line, because its so retarded, but purposefully so. there's an 'aw shucks' innocence to it, and the hardness of the 'k' sound really adds something to it "No I'm just -- I'm that uncool that I think it's cool, yeah." - swedish radio interview
  17. the sound so is mature. and somehow so antithetical to 'love' queen of contradictions
  18. she would piss so many ppl off with that title [so its likely]
  19. there's a bit of a country twang to it that adds something novel to the sound. i mean somehow i can see her singing this in like, a hay field should have put fine china on this album along with it
  20. addressing her devoted young fans and their newfound appreciation for the past (largely in part because of her, she assumes) music, specifically, if ~vintage, is played on vinyl, but now streaming on XM satellite in cadillac SUVs they're a part of the past when they immerse themselves in that aural environment, especially if they subsequently draw inspiration from it but being young, they're essentially an integral part of our collective ~ future; contrasting elements of ~ time past and time present ~ two extremes in time, bipolar tendencies in human nature; the signals cross and get 'confusing' enough to make you """ crazy """ ^ 3 i like the first verse a lot, the rest of it is good, could be better. they should revamp it a bit, push the release back or whatever she needs to do to make it feel fresh and somewhat new, i wish she would substitute words other than 'crazy'. i hope its a demo and that she doesn't give as much of a :)knowing that it is i like how in the end she goes on to sing about how she's the one that is "young" even though at the beginning she refers to the audience as 'kids' from an elder's perspective. i mean, she's young but not that young. almost as if she were suggesting that youth is nothing but a state of mind. queen of geriatric glory ! sorry mom
