I'm dying to get something next year for UV anniversary, I mean yeah she did nothing iirc for BTD but I rly would like more official pictures disk / a boxset concept / something super graphic. I think I'm gonna make something myself tho

Video Series announced for 'Mariners Apartment Complex'
annedauphine replied to Elle's topic in New Releases
This is perhaps the most interesting Lana news I've ever seen, ever since I've saw Five Foot Two I've been DYING to see something similar for Lana -
You both make very fair and valid points. The UV trailer is my favourite produced official video Lana has done. But I think it can be its strength though? Like if WC had a real story behind, I'm not 100% sure it would make sense in the context of the song. Even if the video had ended up being what it was supposed to be, it wouldn't be much different story wise. My only issue with WC video is that if they cut on screen drug use, they could have hinted at it differently; like the black and white part, I would have liked to see some psychedelic colours, thinking of L$D by Rocky

I might be biased because I literally became a stan because of West Coast (and Tropico and Old Money but mostly West Coast and Money Power Glory) and this might be an unpopular opinion but the West Coast video is by far my favourite Lana music video and I mean that. It symbolises Ultraviolence so perfectly and fits the song so well, for example in my opinion far better than the Born To Die video fits the song. I didn't got to see the lush productions of BTD and Para before West Coast so it didn't felt like a downgrade at all. Anyways I'm just being petty lol

Just a personal theory that's already been probably discussed but as soon as I read the title my immediate reaction was to google maps it. And fair enough I found a result, it's a complex just near Marina Del Rey (lol she rly isn't subtle if this was on purpose) in Venice. If you combine it with her Venice Bitch tshirt, I doubt it's a coincidence! The reason, I don't know, could be she didn't wanted it to be obvious (but she should know Lana stans are ravenous stalkers) or she just wanted another reason to sing about damn Los Angeles

Sorry for bumping but I wanna quote this bc every single letter is true. Orphan Black is my absolute favourite series of all time and I enjoyed the process of falling in love with Delphine so much. And then get my heart broken bc she's actually from Quebec and talks with an accent that's practically unbearable for a Parisian like me lol. And I just learned she's pregnant There go my fantasies. And obviously Tatiana is one of the greatest actors that's ever been (praying to God for her second Emmy) so yeah

Catch me being that bitch but I absolutely ADORED it. I was beyond not ready to love it that much. Instantly became my favourite movie, and contrary to music I don't have a zillion of favourite movies, but Love, Simon literally has absolutely everything I love in a movie, and the cherry on the cake is that everyone is super hot. And the end got me rolling in my grave of tears because I did not expect it at all. Urgh I'm so extremely happy my heart is exploding. Homophobia is so unbelievable Edit: also I watched To All The Boys I've Loved Before just just before and although I loved it compared to it it's soooo bad lmao

It's funny for me bc the two people I stan are Lana and MØ but in terms of setlists it's the complete contrary: I would be prefectly happy for MØ to only play her first album songs forever but if Lana ever does BTD live again I'm gonna personally whoop her ass

If you never played it, I stRONglY recommend Night In The Woods. It's available on a shit ton of platforms and it's one of the best games I've ever played. The story is fantastic, the characters very lovable and the art style INCREDIBLE. The soundtrack is one of the best things. Basically it's a point and click adventure with different possible endings. The vibe is just... So peculiarly good. You play as Mae, a highschool drop out with a dark story back in her home small countryside town. Again (and perhaps because it's exactly the way my sister thinks and act and I'm very close to her but not only), this is by far one of the best games I've ever played. If you give it a go please do tell me what you think of it! I'm currently replaying it Just listen to the menu soundtrack, the first track. SOOOOO GOOD

I'm absolutely baffled that some ppl dislike the title? Like it's so extremely Lana, it's so extremely Los Angeles, and LA is the one and only thing this bitch has been singing about since just before after UV was released so how is it suprising lol. I fucking love the title, it immediately reminded me of Best American Record and Heroin, I really think/hope the lyrics go towards this way, telling a story and stuff. I'm that bitch but idc I'm gonna say it - I would even be happy if it ended up being an album track. I for one, think it unravels a specific aesthetic that I'm incredibly here for.

I'm really really really happy because _ she announced it a day after my bday so it feels like a present _ she doesn't wear false lashes on the promo pic _ I absolutely LOVE the title _ the snippet sounds incredible _ I fucking love the video aesthetics for now _ I'm really excited to hear the first Jack Antonoff production _ I adore this woman we will stan forever For now the combination of the video and vibe gives me a mix of Lust For Life / happier Ultraviolence aesthetics / more mature Lana. I'm unbelievably here for this.

She will thanks but I probably won't Because I'm gonna listen to the EP tonight and if I like it enough I'm taking my ticket to see him in less than a month and then she's gonna murder me to death
