so tired of the btd paradise ultraviolence  comparisons "its like this, its not like this, wish it sounded like this" like for fucks sake. it is a new era, new album, new sound, it is LANA, it is beautiful everyone needs to find its own sound within the album. (this is not directed at anyone in particular, mostly lana stans on twitter)

K so I'm coming back home, I'm strongly apologize bc I'm writing this getting incredibly hammered, basically she arrived 30mins late and stayed 2H LONGER. THIS GURL. SO GENEROUS. ANd she spent like not much time at all w me bc I was extremely stressed and I arrived and gave her the flowers and asked how she was doing and she said I'm excited! and her mascara was on point and I was hypnotised by her tattoos and hearing her laugh made me fucking pass out and she asked me where I was from n I said Paris and she said oooooh and then she asked my name and I had to show that I had written it on my arm bc I can't spell and SHE MISPELLED IT HAHAHA. I don't mind at all it's so cute she wrote Anne-Daphine instead of Anne-Dauphine. n these security fuckers were pressing us as f and so I only had the time to ask her for a kiss and I think she thought she wanted me to get a pic of it and I could only get one pic (but motherfuckers got at least 10...............................) so she took my ipod and took the pic but took it like one millisecond before.... THIS BINCH...... and so many people had so many more stuff, I HATE MYSELF for not bringing my UV and BTD vinyls, at least she got my letter and the drawing from boywonder, I wish I had more time, I wish I had another pic, I wish I didn't freaked out, but, whatever, and then I waited 3h with the lovely @@Degenerate and we saw her go away in her car and she's the sweetest and most beautiful woman on earth, she gave a lil girl who gave her a drawing a vinyl to sign it and said she paid for it
 
I'm 9656897% more in love with her than I was before, she's the first girl I asked and she didn't rejected me and I swear to God that made the Earth that I will never unstan, I love her for real, full homo, full love as fuck, full I'd die for you if you only blinked, full I'm dedicating my entire life to you now, full you're the only reason I didn't killed myself because I heard Next To Me and it changed my mind

Actually, I think Ultraviolence is better than BTD.
 
See, I think that is the point why she is losing fans. Some of you guys are not at her point in her life. She is gettin older and she has matured. She is not craving for style only anymore or an emotion, a production that screams "relatable" to a teen or an early twen. 
 
You also get the difference when you read or listen to her interviews now.

Mmm but why are these people praising Born to Die and Ultraviolence appearing out of nowhere on Honeymoon's release eve?

I think you need to get older and see how priorities change in life. Being in your teens and early twenties, so many things are different than in the years to come. Perceptions change, goals change, and how people look at you changes. You learn that beauty is not for forever. 
 
You also realise that all you wanted from love, the men you craved for are not good for you. 
I was at that point in my life after I hit my late 20's.
Also something like "death" that didn't exist in your daily vocabulary becomes very real when you see a parent or an old friend die. And when you see yourself getting older.
 
And I think that may be the breaking point between many Lana fans who are extremly young and herself. She is 30. She sees life different than somebody half her age. From now on, that won't change.

This is not a hate post against you or your opinion at all, and I am very satisfied with HM as an album, but I also don't get people who throw crap at BTD all the time and say that just because it's her first official album somehow it's also her worst.
 
I don't get why would someone NOT want her to write about honoring long lost love and a glamorous lifestyle, when that world is so captivating, it just draws you in.

I don't get why would someone not want her to do photoshoots this amazing again, who, why would you not want her to look this good again?

 
Born To Die was not only an album, it was an experience. What she does now does not compare. But I also understand that it is not supposed to, as making BTD was her main goal in life.
Now, HM is a wonderful album and I sincerely love all songs. But I can't help but feel that BTD is on a whole other level.

Art Deco in quality is STUNNING!! I had only listened to the UO periscope and this song NEEDS to be enjoyed in the best quality possible!!

With the title of the album being called Honeymoon, I was sort of expecting the album to be about finding your one true love and living happily or like life feels like paradise.
