Scared to be Lonely is doing decent on US iTunes. In the Name of Love was out for awhile before it caught on, she has a shot at a US hit.

I must've imagined I'd read an interview where they said they were previously released, but I always assumed rarities collections were typically already released tracks that didn't make albums/some unreleased demos

It sort of depends, DC falls more in line with Bloom and Teen Dream, where TYLS falls more in line with Devotion and S/T I would argue that all of their albums are a lot more different sonically than people like to give them credit for.

I don't think it was posted in here or I'm just blind but they're releasing an album of their previously released, but lesser known songs (b-sides basically) this year and that what the tour is for

I have a feeling we're not getting it tomorrow and TDE is releasing their one of their new signee's EPs on the 10th so I don't think we'll be getting it next week either

Alina Baraz has a new single out Album coming in 2017 (possibly already finished) getting released through Mom+Pop

I haven't really been into anything of his since Salad Days. Another One was pretty underwhelming.

I'm gonna unstan if it isn't. She's had two weeks to tell us its not and hasn't corrected everyone

Love her but not crazy about Keep Running. I liked her more leftfield stuff more.

She's complained about her label not releasing her stuff but she's also said she understands that they're in it to make money. I also love her versatility, but I think thats one of the problems she's having with her label. The biggest thing critics knocked Aquarius for was that it was all over the place genre wise (which is something I liked about it) and I think her label wants her to focus on a sound so they can market her properly. The problem is she wants to (rightfully) make whatever music she wants and a lot of her fans like that she's dropping pop, r&b, and dance tracks.

I'm kind of disappointed with the album, but I think it's more because it wasn't the sound I was hoping for

I like Scared To Be Lonely, I think it would sound really cool if she did an acoustic version with strings Also I don't really get the generic complaint. I don't really think its any more generic than BYM

Record contracts are usually like 3-5 albums long. Assuming Nightride fulfilled one of her album requirements she may be done after Joyride but I wouldn't assume they'd let that happen so I'd say at least Joyride and another album.

I wonder if RCA is pulling the "throwing sh*t at the wall until something sticks" strategy with her
