Does anyone else think a lot of the recent leaks over the past say year or so, were made with the intention of being leaked somehow? Like they don’t give any projects vibe, I mean I know a few of them do but some feel like they were just recorded and written to be leaked later, planned ? Idk maybe it’s just the choice of songs that have been leaked but imo not many of the tracks we’ve gotten have that special feeling so many others have.

i think following how Lana has captured the zeitgeist largely in part to a huge unreleased catalogue, it’s becoming a means for artists to stay relevant and keep fans paying attention between singles / albums.
charli is probably the best example of this atm

i second the portals outtakes. i need another track from either the Light Shower sessions (what else did she work on first) or the Sirens sessions

These jingle ball shows were an opportunity to grow her fan base, you have SZA and Olivia Rodrigo fans in there and most of them are not going to want to listen to someone dressed as a creepy pink alien. This isn't the portals tour where the fans are expecting that this is a live streamed festival with A List headliners... I mean her choice it's just not a good one lol

It was basically rushed. The original tracklist was 10 songs but because she's on some creative high and is continually making music (and recorded a whole other album next to PF2 apprently, she's such a workaholic) she altered the tracklist because she felt it wasn't personal enough so she added more songs and prehaps didn't have enough time to pick the places carefully. I get the rush bc im sure she's trying to get vinyl sales or whatever it is
