this is true. every song that plays on the radio now was already getting huge streaming numbers on Spotify, Apple music and youtube like New Rules by Dua Lipa (which radio aired really late...its been a hit aready) or this annoying song thats on every meme has been on the internet for months but it just started airing on the radio like 3 weeks ago

all tea all shade. i posted and asked this either on this thread or somewhere else but really how much does her label control her artistic output in the end even tough she says her record deal lets her do whatever she want? like im sure she wrote political songs that went more in-depth than Cockroach - Wood On My Mind. how much would one bet they rejected the "4 Political Songs Take-Outs" she talked about a few months ago and at the same time, she needs to go big or go home with these "world conscious songs" that are outside of her lyrical universe like imagine her writing this. her poli songs weren't boring.. just too vague, not straightforward. Someone here said that pulling out a Bob Dylan would be weird yes, but she didn't reach the middle where these themes would comfortably sit in her discography. One could feel as if she wrote these songs to be #relevant (which wasn't the purpose of couse )

yeah i have an indirect connection with them considering my dad did the electricity and wiring of their first store in Puerto Rico back in the 90s when he was an electrician, and i used to go there all the time just to look around at their Thomas the Train stuff i saw on their site that they've moved up to 30% off.... not sure if all stores have by now but like many people have said, their model never adapted. they should've become more interactive. they're a big boxed warehouse with unnatural lights that sells.. toys. The shopping experience has been rather boring, customer service has lacked a lot across all stores. Events and activities that tie up with releases of new toys, hands on experience for ALL toys, competing prices, etc would've saved the physical facet of theirs. unfortunately the saying "adapt or die" has become a staple in retail the past decade and a half
