  1. omg there's lyrics https://genius.com/Charli-xcx-burning-up-lyrics
  2. I don't remember this at all? She said Lust for Life was the first song she created for the album...
  3. Hey, I've been home sick and I was just reflecting on Lust for Life and got to thinking if we have a good idea on when songs were created and all that? 1. Beautiful People - June 2014, originally intended for Big Eyes. The song sat in limbo with many versions being worked on from 2014 to 2017. 2. Lust for Life - September 2015, Lana began working on demo versions of this song “the day she put out Honeymoon” 3. Heroin - December 2015 - February 2016, Lana posted Sharon Tate to her burthdaykake account, emulated her style on the red carpet and more. The song has a clear Manson influence so it wouldn’t be too far off to figure this song was born around this time! 3. Love - April 2016, originally called Young and in Love. 4. 13 Beaches - May 2016, originally called Something Real. 5. God Bless America - November 2016, Lana’s said this song was created before the Women’s Marches of 2017, and around the time Trump was first elected. 6. Groupie Love - Apparently one of the earlier songs, Lana went to one of A$AP’s concerts in Nov 2016 and said she was inspired by the groupie chicks in his crowd. 7. Cherry / White Mustang - Lana stated in a Zane Lowe interview that both songs were created towards the end of the record. I'm leaning to anywhere after February 2017 - Since at that time the record was probably still called Best American Record, and had a different direction. 8. Coachella - April 2017, created on her way home from the Coachella festival. 9. In My Feelings - April - June 2017, with the song being about G-Eazy, it's conception only could've happened after Coachella when him and Lana stopped seing each other. It’s possible Lana reworked an original concept to be about G-Eazy 10. Change - June 8th, 2017, this song was created the night before the album was submitted to Interscope. 11. Get Free - It's unknown as to when the original version, Malibu, was created but it seems like it was also one of the earlier songs
  4. Alternate master of Play Date without a stem... Pretty uninteresting but kinda cool. I inverted them together and got this - http://picosong.com/ww2Vv I don't have the full, sorry! I could only figure out how to get the database to play a snippet. If I find anything else interesting then I will post it
  5. EDIT: All of the tracks except Summer Bummer (which is on Warner) and Groupie Love
  6. Oh, the rest of the LFL tracks were finally registered onto ASCAP! Wonder what took them so long Nothing interesting besides GBA being title "God Bless America - And All The Beautiful Wom"
  7. I think instead of registered it says recorded. I hope this is true though!!!
  8. Dance for Money! The final (unleaked) version of the song is called Lemonade Motorcycle Heaven!
  9. Yes, I do think UV is 10/10 just not her best. The others can choke
  10. a key factor of being overrated is not equaling to how great people think you are And all of those things I mentioned embody that
  11. Most overrated things in the Lana fandom: Ultraviolence (Album) Cherry (Song) Ride (Video) Steven Mertens (Unleaked) And those are fucking facts
  12. birds of paradise are a type of flower.. EDIT: Oh I stand corrected, they're also a real bird too wow
  13. Me bopping to Coachella with all of LB trying to tell me it's bad

  15. Very popular opinion but I fucking need Lana to do a whole song next era with Lizzy vocals ala Get Free backing vocals *Out of the Black, Into the Blue* and speaking of Get Free, I don't know if anyone has really realized just how much the chorus of Get Free is a relic taken directly from the 1960s / 1970s. That could've been in a Beatles song completely intact and it would still fit them... That kind of chorus was something I knew deep in my heart that I wanted and needed from Lana and right when I first heard it, I was completely blown away. Making this one of my favorite Lana songs + Lizzy grant vocals? Heaven.
  16. I really thought it was "I live in the age of the Hollywood sign" in the LFL trailer and "We dance in the age of the Hollywood sign" and I thought it meant like the world today is completely made up of celebrities I like it more than the real versions
  17. unfortunately, I am an Americano and I have also been in school since August
  18. Say Yes to Heaven

    Lorde

Never heard Homemade Dynamite to begin with, so just hearing the remix for the first time is so exciting! Loved it, but don't know how much it's diff from the original (of course, the collabs aren't there)
  19. A new song from the album is called "Where The Flowers Bloom" and features Bootsy Cline
  20. Yeah! It was on one of her official channels iirc? I think many of us thought it wasn't real too
