There is no way Metacritics will take down the Guardian review. Alexis Petridis is one of the most known reviewer in music scene and everybody got used to his stupid reviews of pop albums.

I find it unfair that they decide the score themselves if its not given to them. They should demand a score from any magazine. Now the only way they will change it is if the writer would say they had different score in their mind.

Email the LAtimes reviewer to let them know that their review may have been misconstrued and for them to clarify (and then hope they don’t give an even lower score )

Remember Metacritics staff have never taken down these troll reviews with 0 score for BTD and BTW from Tiny Mix Tapes. They had to read them to get a summary, yet they thought they were completely ok to be counted. I wouldnt be suprised if they had their own agenda. I mean they are receptive to take down reviews for some albums, yet for others they act deaf.

 

They should also broaden their list of reviewing magazines. Why not include the Atlantic etc... I feel like we are getting less and less reviews for albums from the chosen ones.
