I'm going to start with this one, since I already have a cover and the backcover done:

 

 

So, the theme behind this one is pretty obvious: the escape to California in search of a better life 

I've tried to add songs from each album like they're telling a story: from her arrival to the Golden State (FIILY), to her wanting her man there (Freak), the disillusion about what's seems to be the Garden of Eden but in reality is the Garden of Evil (Gods & Monsters), the melancholy of her reminiscing the time with her man (California & VB) till the last songs in which she questions her happiness in that place... I was aiming to an overall summery feeling, and I think it's pretty well balanced!

I've event turned this into a Spotify playlist that I listeng regularly.

The design of this is seriously gorgeous! I'm honestly so impressed, I would be very tempted to get a custom vinyl printed up with this cover, in fact. And the concept of album works so well too. Please do post more of your album concepts if you have anymore!

I did this one long ago, and I even printed it (just except for the CD sticker, everything was DIY so I had no idea on how to print that one), so yeah  I also made one for the Ultraviolence outtakes, but I haven't updated that one.

Lana Del Rey - Serial Killer

Release date: April 18, 2011

I know the picture is from 2014, but it suited my idea of the cover so I used it lol.

 

It kinda mixes the gangster vibes (Hundred Dollar Bill, You Can Be the Boss, Us Against the World, Live or Die, Kinda Out of Luck) with dark trip-hop inspired songs (title track, Velvet Crowbar, Last Girl on Earth, Roses) and songs that involve a love relationship (Because of You, Paris, On Our Way) with the Americana vibes that Lana music has always reflected (Hollywood's Dead, Marilyn Monroe).

Later on, I planned a new version featuring more songs:

I know  that's why I am going to shorten it again to maybe 15 songs. But I have to think well about how the album is going to be ordered. I had the 16-track version printed but that order is not my favourite tbh so I'll still work on it.
