Much like her first album, the new one is mostly filler tracks with a few highlights here and there.

Also, her album covers are so bad, she needs a better design team behind her.

She's got Britney of this gen vibes. I really like her music. I loved this new album. PURE good pop. Ryan Tedder had his hands on it, so I knew early on when I started to listen that it would be so good. I don't care for the cover of the album though.

Out of curiosity, anyone know the complete differences between the physical CD pressing mixes of not the bonus material and the digital? I've noted that the physical has a version of sports car that is shorter and has different vocals for the chorus and Greenlight has a different intro/outro

Just finished my first listen to this album to see what the hype is all about,

it's not the worst thing ever but tbh this album is overwhelming and hard to get through the whole thing, this is my first experience with tate's music but she doesnt offer me anything about what makes her her, I dont see what separates her from artists, she lacks her own voice during this whole record. 

There are some okay moments here and there but generally, this album feels like she's imitating all these pop icons and their sounds instead of showing us there's only one tate mcrae, the songs reminds me of Ariana (à la Positions era - the boring bland ass trap sounds), Charli xcx (the autotune), Dua Lipa (debut), Britney (her cadence), Camila (c,xoxo), Tinashe, Victoria Monet, etc...It's like you heard the album once and thats enough, if you want the same vibes, you just play the original artists instead of this album. 

 

Some of my favs are: Better than I was, Purple lace bra, greenlight, nostalgia 

 

i do know songs like One Day, its a shame that this vibe isnt in the album when it's 100% better than what i've heard so far.

I'd loove that as a cover. They should release a deluxe version in the future with that as the cover

They keep changing the cover and tracklisting though, like girl the album's only been out for two days

I happened to be online at the right time on Friday to get a signed CD though apparently her fans are pretty convinced they're mostly signed by her staff... I've actually never seen a fandom so convinced of widespread fake signatures

Anyway, I'm obsessed. I bought Think Later on vinyl on Friday too. Been listening to both nonstop since Friday
