I was thinking that she was definitely the Other woman. She was a close friend (or at least a mistress) that was around his family and she watched his baby being born with his then wife or girlfriend, and while Lana was being with this guy, her life was falling apart because she was too busy being stuck on him. So her fiance left her. Then comes the second verse when her guy that she watched child being born, decided to be with her, his mom was upset and decided not to come to their wedding at all.  And that made Lana sad because she knew that she was tearing up a home to have him.
 
Also truly she knows that what they have isnt enough to sustain a marriage, but she thought love would be enough. But everything around them is falling apart, who's to say they wont either. They both are wooden, so they are good for each other, but the environment wasnt. They were star crossed.
 
I'm probably way off and the other person made sense lol. But that's what I got from it.

Supernatural is really good. The Boy is Mine is a SNOOZE.
 
I think the album sounds a lot different from the forever21 music Yes And was. And I'm thankful. It is a LOT slower than expected and I feel like she's missing her range? Which was an interesting route. But its chill and nice. I think it's a smooth transition album.

I can't imagine such a talented song writer like Teddy still relying on songs from 2015-2021 to be on the comeback album. I'm sorry but that just doesn't cut it. I don't mean she wouldn't re-use maybe some material, I bet old songs will be on it (if it even exists) but I'd hope for something fresh.. Bring on the mass of dead material!

i'm surprised they haven't cracked down on artists releasing slightly different versions of the same album to increase chart sales, they cracked down on people (k-pop stans) buying the same single on different accounts by decreasing the weight physical sales have. I suppose it would be quite difficult to enforce, like would they make it so only the standard album version counted towards album sales? (genuinely curious, not looking to start another fight about album versions lol)

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is one of my fav movies so I'm actually excited. I rly hope "yes, and?" is an outlier though.... scared

Yeah she’s definitely leaning into the controversy with Yes, And. Even though she has little public support, the complete opposite it seems. I’m thinking a lot of Arinators have moved on the past couple years and became Olivia Rodrigo fans or Swifties or something, because with an album being 10 days away hype seems to be at an all time low  I realllly hope the album doesn’t follow this tone as a whole and has some other themes and song types, but i’ll have to wait and see. And pls no more Yes And wannabe bops. I personally want more songs like Bad Idea, In My Head, Bad Decisions, Just Like Magic, Everytime, Be Alright. Songs that have variety and actual merit, shit you won’t get bored of. If she makes another song as good as Bad Idea i wouldn’t care if it was about fucking 20 married men at once i would just be so happy it’s not another flop!
