This song is pure genius. Everytime I read about it I get more and more impressed, not a coincidence it’s my favorite lana song. Once I read that she uses lower voice to talk with third parties about her relationship and with the higher voice to talk with the man she’s with. It makes a lot of sense and it’s amazing

Love this thread! Someone once said "If LDR was a Spice Girl, she'd be Literary Spice, and I totally agree with that. Her lyrics are as good as her vocals and her music, and they're what makes the whole thing (the Lana Del Rey thing) work. In her own words, she's a "writer first".
