pretty sure she went to psychology college for a semester in 2016/2017 and then dropped out. she was working on l+f in 2016-2017 too so she never really took a break from music just publicly.

part of the reason for her break was family bereavement iirc, she lost her grandmother (the one that sang on fear and loathing) and a great-aunt(?) and her dad got sick too, she was crying on several occasions during the neon nature tour but she was 'stuck' (financially) so she couldn't stop the tour, I think she was a bit traumatised by the whole thing.

like she went from froot being her best moment and 'achieving everything she wanted' and proving herself to all this bereavement.
