Karmic threads that extend my comprehension of their lineage stitched themselves tighter, trapping me inside a dress that wasn’t mine to wear.

I turned a blind eye at first thought they’d stop once they knew we were in love
 

They didn’t.

They wanted incest.

Wanted family.

Wanted blood.
 

Skin a clammy pallor, two Victorian doll eyes belying no emotion and every emotion all the time

One glance my way felt like a million tiny knives, I could never quite explain why it sent shivers down my spine

My dreams began to die by a million tiny cuts crisscrossing softly over time, noughts ’n crossing through the night, until the day that I decided:

Cut to today in L.A. life, I saw their first victim last night

and the strangest thing I learned is that the dangers in my life were so much worse than all my fears, worse than someone who could connive
Abusive, sick, violent, illegal. Somebody wild, wounded and sad.
 

And though it won’t mean much to others, it disturbed the peace I had because I’d felt it all along and I had seen it from the start:
A serial killer mind hiding inside a darker art.

so we have just under a month to go until the 10 year anniversary of FROOT, will I’m not hungry anymore be scrapped for the fourth time? will we get any other outtakes? will we finally get to hear froot’s 7 minute demo? what will the cover be? are we going to get any new photos? is she simply going to do a repressing of the regular vinyl or will the boxset be back? will we be disappointed but unsurprised or pleasantly surprised?

i really hope the covers froot but 10x more dramatic and epic, that photoshoot and froots visuals have so muich potential. itd be hard to beat the already perfect og cover tho

One of the first albums that ever TRULY resonated with me. You made me feel less weird for being so cynical about things during my youth. I still love your odd glamour and charming eccentricity. May you continue forward as the legend you are!

We did get the Platinum Blonde version of EH with all the extra songs and a beautiful boxset tho, which honestly was really surprising. She knows damn well people love Froot and she’d be crazy not to profit off this. 
Also it seems that recently Marina “accepted” her past for who she was (see for example all the stories about TFJ anniversary), unlike during the L+F era.

We can hope! We didn’t get any new songs though. a few were region locked and were made available everywhere, and EVOL had been released, albeit limitedly and unavailable for streaming  So I wouldn’t hold out hope for an actual unreleased song, a vinyl would be nice though

I think she had a little bit of involvement, like the name feels like something she would come up with and she actually did some press (the nylon interview), but I definitely agree it was 99% the label, and I don't think she had anything to do with TFJ being released globally as she has literally not mentioned it to this day.

I have nothing nice to say about MargarineInsect so instead I will say that my girl Buy The Stars will always be famous, played her in the car for my dad and got that heavy metal man into Marina immediately, her impact cannot be overstated
