    I’m late but…
    My timeline:
    May - nothing
    June - nothing
July - snippet of song 15 seconds no title
    August - nothing
    September - nothing
    Mid October - single release

December -  An interview for a magazine where she briefly mentions the album, how she’s excited for it but the interview is mostly awful and about irrelevant drivel.

January- Releases a budget Music video/live performance for first single in black and white has a known country singer playing guitar whilst she sings.

End of February - Preorder, cover and new song, Album release date for April 17th, the album title is different ‘Lasso my Heart’ or something like that.

March - merch revealed- cowgirl hats and embroidered denim Jackets which she sells for $320 plus postage. She also adds a few new T shirts with Lasso on in white on black in basic font which are incredibly bland.

April -Album release and another video, critics rate the album 74 with comparisons to Beyonce but stating Lana should have stuck with her Norman Rockwell sound and style, that it falls flat at times. Guardian gives the album 3 stars making irrelevant comments about other artists like Taylor and Billie.

May - Lana mentions another album she’s working on and is seen with Jack in the studio

I really like this interpretation. Not that she she necessarily has a clear vision of things to come for her next albums, but there is a sorta pattern so far, in her discography: she has two major landmarks, two albums that defined the American culture or read that said culture : Born to Die and Norman Fucking Rockwell. Norman was preceded by the «transition album », an album for her troubled times. Ocean Blvd is also a transition album, one that helped her grieve. See where I’m going with this? Lasso could be her third Best American Record.

Btw it was so bizarre not hearing her sing video games and kind of depressing. Out of all the songs she could cut, why that one? It doesn’t make sense

good lord this woman is unbelievably beautiful. She’s never looked better, and that’s saying a lot. I’m stunned seeing her it’s like almost painful to look at her bc she’s so beautiful. And it seems like she’s really happy. That’s so special. And that mic was ON. beautiful vocals beautiful girl fuck Camilla and fuck goddamn bartender

Ok in get free she says “out of the black into the blue” like it’s a positive thing. Like she’s becoming happier. But during Coachella she literally goes from blue to black in outfit changes meaning a return to her darker mindset. The intro song (My My, Hey Hey-Neil Diamond) also says “out of the blue into the black” and talks about basically going hard instead of fizzling out. The hologram cage interlude talked about women being mothers or virgins and how those are the only acceptable choices in society. But then goes on to talk about sensuality and creativity and not being caged by just the two choices of virgin or mother. She’s mused a lot about motherhood especially in Ocean Blvd and I think this could all point to her giving up having kids and just focusing on her career, her art. Also the ending where she’s carried out felt like a funeral instead of the usual psych ward vibe, then she’s almost reborn into a new era that is just for her. Of course this could all just me being tired af and unhinged.

Someone else that’s better an analyzing this stuff chime in! Lol

i would say maybe she did get laryngitis but a while ago and it was mostly better, and then the stress of coachella brought back some sickness, hence it being spiritually cleansed out of her lol

cause it is true u can get sick from being anxious/stressed. like i get rashes and canker sores and sore throats when i’m anxious but as soon as I calm down they go away pretty fast

call me a weird hippy idc i see how this could be true

I’m only saying it’s always something. If it’s indeed a mic problem, just hire the best and have a backup plan. If it’s indeed some sickness, maybe don’t stay in a cold warehouse like some indie artist? Unfortunate stuff surely can happen but it sometimes feels like she can’t accept she underperforms sometimes, so it sounds unbelievable even if it’s true.

Also she did say she sounds breathy because she fell out of a tree as a little girl, so yeah she lies about such things. Her history of doing so makes me question it.

look, all i'm gonna say is- i know someone who has worked on lana's vocal chords for a long time (at least since she was yodeling the bridge of China Palace in the nevada desert condemned Coney island, pretty sure?) and from everything i know, she's experiencing in the human body, what is known as Bronchidoria Fallybulla....known as the thickening of one's vocal chords over a prolonged measure of time. i also know a lot of people in the medical/ENT industry that are shady, flakey, and can just be an all around pain so it sounds like this psychic was probably just hired in order to conduct a spell in which Lana's vocal chords shrank back to their normal size. This can be attributed as evidence when we examine the lower register and infrequency of her vocals at this performance of weekend one of Coachella 2024. Especially, considering her close team (ben, ed, byron, blake, sheridan. etienne, etc.) have been battling this virus themselves. As it was reportedly first discovered in the French Alps, where Lana has been seen frequently with her backup dancers , Zella Day, and even Judah Smith all going to an elusive "Retreat". I cant personally say what goes on at these so called retreats... But i do know. Plus mother is at her peak rn anyways. She was going to deliver regardless of her familial cursed bloodline.

look all i'm gonna say is i know someone who has worked on lana's tours for a long time (at least since la to the moon i'm pretty sure?) and from everything i know she's a pleasure to work with and super kind to her employees... i also know a lot of people in the festival/concert industry are shady, flakey, and can just be an all around pain so it sounds like this guy was probably just an asshole, especially considering her close team (ben, ed, byron, blake, sheridan. etienne, etc.) have been with her FOREVER with no complaints.

Right, cause didn’t Jen stith’s sister say Lana thought people hated Margaret throughout Taco Truck x VB? Sometimes I wonder what goes on in her head

I agree with this especially for her own concerts/tours but she should also be mindful about the audience at festivals in particular. She obviously should care whether the audience enjoys the show.

That’s true, but then again it’s the fans choice weather they want to give her money to go see her live if she’s just gonna basically do the same thing Everytime

Yeah. Like I know it’s her show, and this is Lana Del Rey she will do whatever she wants. But surely singing wordy, breathy and lengthy piano songs is not something that’s gonna make you feel confident especially when no one in the crowd is singing back?

Even then, I can’t imagine choosing that slow of a set when like you said Brooklyn Baby, SYTH, National Anthem, Peppers, VB, Mariners, Lust for Life, The greatest were all there…….

We were about 20 minutes away from getting Kintsugi, Fingertips and White Dress

You know what... Ive been thinking about it and Bartender + Interlude, Hope is a dangerous thing, Arcadia and the extended version of Candy Necklace really have no place in a FESTIVAL set list - especially one as big as coachella. Most people in the audience arent stans and wont know those songs... all they do is take up a lot of time and kill any momentum. I dont know what the hell shes thinking. To shorten West Coast to less than half the song (the majority of which she didnt even sing) and then spend ages singing Bartender makes absolutely no sense. There are many other bigger songs such as Blue Jeans, National Anthem, Brooklyn Baby, Shades of Cool, Venice Bitch and Thunder (to name a few) that would fit better and that general festival goers might actually enjoy. I still think venice bitch with the fireworks is the perfect closer and I have no idea why she scrapped it
