cherryblossoms 10,274 Posted March 1, 2019 I feel like Superstar could’ve been 100x better if the production was a bit more explosive with more interesting sound effects. I don’t mind the general vibe of the production (I love the futuristic/“spacey” ambiance) but it definitely veers towards generic EDM. The bridge is stunning with that dreamy synth in the background, reminds me of a cool Sci-Fi movie. I can tell it’s going to turn off a lot of people, but it’s been 4 years and I get with the headspace she’s in, she wants to go in a more light-hearted direction.
