I think it's an abrupt end because it's just the end of Electra, she came and went To end the entire album campaign, the idea was very well crafted, the tour was great and the follow through of the concept was all executed properly. I had the original 17 EH songs together, Just Desserts as a single, and EVOL in my unreleased EP, but I don't know what to do with Electra Heart.. I have the unreleased tracks (like the other girls, scab and plaster, miss y etc) in an album labeled unreleased. I like that at the end she wipes the heart off her face, I think that's a really great way to kill Electra, however I wish it was longer than just a second at the end and then blackness... She didn't even wipe it off, it was still there... it would've been perfect if she actually smudged it/got it off her face and then reflected for a second. It's just so quick... And the song is good but not as good as I expected I guess. It's really repetitive. I probably won't use it much. This is my opinion on Electra Heart ending as posted by me on tumblr: I KNOW I’m one of Marinas biggest fans so it feels kind of weird that I’m not upset that Electra Heart is over at all and everyone on my dash is acting suicidal… In fairness I think a lot of her fans now didn’t know her until the Electra Heart era, I became obsessed when The Family Jewels came out. I’m ready for a new era, and while I was in love with the Electra heart concept for the longest time, it’s gotten stale and she needs new material. Electra Heart has turned into a whiny teenage girls diary. I related to a lot of it but like I’m done with it now and I’m glad it’s over.
