I don't understand the Rolling Stones review... They spend most of the review describing the sound of the album, and it sounds pretty great to me from how they describe it (although I'm surprised they say it's so electronic and synthy, I expected something grungey and more "live" sounding) and then they just say at the end that it somehow fails to charm, but not WHY it fails to charm, and then slap on 2.5 stars? This is one of the dumbest reviews I've ever read...
 
edit: like does she just not like it because Sky has an "icy" attitude? okay that's kind of the point... It's not a happy friendly record... and I think her voice is full of emotion at the right times...

The Good Natured is a band that makes electropop music with a dark/goth twist.
 
They are super good and I just discovered them the other day but apparently they announced a few weeks ago that their label dropped them and their album has been shelved And they tried their best but they couldn't get the album out of their label's hands to release it themselves... I don't understand how that stuff happens... 
 
These two songs by them that were produced by Patrick Berger who is an awesome producer. He's done some of my favorite songs, Dancing on My Own by Robyn, I Love It, and You're the One by Charli XCX.
 

 

I don't usually listen to acoustic music but everything Kitten does acoustic is flawless... The combination of the lyrics and the gut-wrenching emotion in Chloe's voice... I can't even handle it. I can say now they truly are my favorite band (/duo... is it just Chad and Chloe) and I can't wait to see them again.
 
I was laying awake in bed at 4 am last night with my eyes wide open staring at my ceiling listening to Science and Regret and thinking about life, and my thoughts got kind of sidetracked and dark but anyway... Their music really effects me. 

"I WIll (Never Release an Album)" sounds fitting.

Wow slay queen... But that's actually crazy that people would dish out half a grand for a single... It's not even signed.

God Knows I tried and Freak are the only new tracks I've heard so far and both are great!
 
I hear an influence of Creep by Radiohead in the bridge of Freak.
 
I feel like the people who disliked UltraViolence and wanted another BTD should like this album… It honestly sounds pretty similar to me. Not exactly the same, but the production is basically BTD (if it were all slow). Art Deco is extremely BTD. 

So most of you probably don't know me but I used to be pretty active on the Charli board...
 
Just wanted to come back here to comment on Honeymoon! Especially because in the last couple months I got SUPER into UltraViolence. It's actually my favorite Lana album now. The guitar in Shades of Cool… EVERYTHING. I used to not like UltraViolence but a switch flipped and it became a total masterpiece in my mind.
 
I haven't heard Honeymoon yet… Still waiting for it to come out on itunes. I don't know where y'all heard it   But I am already expectng to like it less than Ultraviolence… But that's okay. With my expectations low, I'll go in and hopefully find some stand out moments that really surprise me.
 
I am disappointed that the album is apparently all very slow, because what I liked about Ultraviolence is how some parts of it burst into the craziest energy and hard guitars. It can be very assertive. The bridge of Sad Girl, Shades of Cool, her cockiness on Brooklyn Baby… I was kind of disappointed with Music to Watch Boys To. I expected some guitar in it. It's too bad the guy from The Black Keys wasn't involved in this album at all.
 
anyway… Hoping for the best! Terrance loves you is such a gorgeous song. I really think even if this album is over-saturated with slow burns, as long as they maintain that kind of beauty, they will all grow on me.

I think you need to get older and see how priorities change in life. Being in your teens and early twenties, so many things are different than in the years to come. Perceptions change, goals change, and how people look at you changes. You learn that beauty is not for forever. 
 
You also realise that all you wanted from love, the men you craved for are not good for you. 
I was at that point in my life after I hit my late 20's.
Also something like "death" that didn't exist in your daily vocabulary becomes very real when you see a parent or an old friend die. And when you see yourself getting older.
 
And I think that may be the breaking point between many Lana fans who are extremly young and herself. She is 30. She sees life different than somebody half her age. From now on, that won't change.

I just realized the "font" of her name on Froot is literally her signature. That's actually pretty cool to be honest. In a way, she's signing all her albums!

No one is *confirmed* to have it and now that she's registered it it would be even harder for the song to leak so dnt get ur hopes up
