I wonder if this is just a coincidence and not a promotion attempt

daphnedinkley 13,854 Posted Sunday at 12:13 PM totally random (appropriate for the random lana discussion thread i guess ) but i was just thinking, i wonder if lana collects anything? like i'm sure she probably collects vinyls or some other kind of physical music, but with the way she's moved around a lot in her life (NY, california, alabama, etc) and described having a somewhat nomadic lifestyle at certain points, i wonder if she's somebody who owns a lot of stuff or is more of a minimalist. like idk does she like to collect vintage magazines? ornate wine bottles? decorative plates? antique glassware? star wars funko pops? is she a candle girly with a huge supply that could last a year? does she have any vintage film or tour posters on her walls? would she go nuts in the B&M soft furnishings aisle? so many questions

It’s on my album Honeymoon. It’s the antithesis of hopefulness. It’s about trying to find beauty in giving up. If I had my way, I would continue to persist in all areas of my life, but it can be quite challenging because I can be too trusting too soon."

And we can totally see that in the BTD and paradise area. She wore the same emerald ring, the same diamond studded choker with the crucifix, the same silver snake bracelet and a few other things multiple times (once i spend hours looking through the gallery in sightings on Lanapedia to analyse her fashion from 2012-2015 so i didn't miss much lol). But it seems these days she doesnt care for it anymore! Also I dont think she's a minimalist. Have you seen the state of her bedroom in some of the photos she's shared But she also doesn't seem like an overconsumer.
Sunbather Moonchaser 2,660 Posted Monday at 06:34 PM Many people (including me) have been talking about DYKTTATUOB as 'Ocean Blvd' but I think that Lana would've wanted for us to call it 'Tunnel' and here's why: So in the title track of the album, she says "Don't forget me like the tunnel under ocean blvd" which is a metaphor for her career. And she also asks "Did you know that there's a tunnel under ocean blvd?" which signifies as that the person she's talking to already knows what Ocean Blvd is but may be unaware that there's a tunnel under it. Therefore, people KNOW Ocean Blvd, but most people don't know about the tunnel. So let's say that the tunnel is her career. And the fact that many (including me) have been calling it 'Ocean Blvd' while we should've been calling it 'Tunnel' since Tunnel is the forgotten part, so we have forgot about the Tunnel, and we only focus on the most well-known part: The Ocean Blvd. I just read this out loud and realized that I made no sense

I think that the tunnel is Lana herself, as a metaphor obviously. All she wants to be is loved (by others and herself) and not to be forgotten.

baddisease 18,011 Posted 9 minutes ago After Lana marrying a violent transphobe, racist, and MAGA supporter, I look at her differently. I look at her in a way I should always have. I love her music and art. I genuinely thought she was a good person. But I don't think she is anymore. I should not have treated her the way I did, being uncritical and not separating her art from who she is as a person. So her and her husband being trash actually had a silver lining in that I'm not naive about artists anymore.
