every store in the US has it for like $25 and I remember watching the last season when I was younger so I decided to watch them all even though you can stream it for free on Amazon Prime I think

You are definitely not alone! I used to watch the original airings on MTV and I still have some VHS tapes with episodes that have all the music intact! Daria was a huge inspiration to me and I think it's timeless. The subject matter is no less relevant today than it was 15 years ago. I freaked the fuck out when they finally released the complete series! I'd had the DVDs of the movies that had bonus episodes and the one VHS that was released, so I was literally chomping at the bit.

so over the past few days i've been watching a lot of daria, the show was done a few months before i was born, however it's highly relevant. i would say that daria is an inspiration of sorts, i like the fact that she's herself, can stand up for herself and isn't shy to say her opinion. i'm exactly the same, and i can't stand the people i go to school with. so it's nice to be able to relate.

i'm so glad i recently discovered her. i also like it because every character is somewhat likeable in their own little way.

I loved that too, but in a way it kind of made me sad because no one on the show was an outright terrible person (well, maybe that Sandy chick) and I wished the people in my school and around me were like in Daria's. Real life doesn't really work like that.

I'd completely forgotten until this thread was made but for some strange reason I remember watching a few Daria episodes from when I was, idk, 5 or something? I don't remember anything but a few of the character's faces but I have a thing for cartoons and I might even try watching it again.
