so, presuming lana wasn't talking shit (again) when she was speaking to vogue, and there will be 2 more singles coming out this year, is it safe to presume that one will come out in october, and the other in december?

 

or do we think she'll randomly drop two singles on december 30th (maybe not even then)?

imo this record is definitely on hold. i don't have experience being in weddings but i know that they consume so much time. and then you want to spend time w your spouse as newlyweds. i'm also interested to see how this life change will affect her music. will she split time between louisiana and LA? is she interested in pivoting away from festivals, touring, and settling down (for lack of a better term)? she is already an incredibly private person and i wouldn't be surprised if she has had a deep longing to step away from the hollywood scene ("i'm ready to leave LA and i want you to come"). and if she does, i wonder what that will look like. i know it can seem like a silly speculation, but what if she decides to stop recording under lana del rey? maybe that "project" is over. maybe not, though.

Really hoping they change the way she records her voice, I just want to enjoy listening to her without the squeaks. when there's a feature its kind of a distraction because there's no squeaks when the other person is singing just on her verses because of the affects they use on her

the record is on hold for sho. But i doubt lana will stop making music or change her name

 

i reckon lasso 2025, something else family/child inspired 2027.

i just don't think lana or her team care about what the media says. occasionally she'll respond to a bad review or weird stan accusations (trump, her wealth, etc.) but i really don't think she's going to adjust her album schedule as a reaction to this wedding backlash. i don't think she cares at all

you guys im so happy for lana, i have a strong feeling that lanas poetry and music will take a huge switch because of her marriage, i do not mean it in a bad way i just think we will see a new side of her in the next few years.

 

i wish her only the best and to be honest im completely fine if she doesn’t release an album the next few years not cuz I don’t want it, no, i just think she deserves a break.
