desire, i want to turn into you - caroline polachek

melodrama - lorde

brat - charli xcx

only god was above us - vampire weekend

prelude to ecstasy - the last dinner party

daddy's home - st. vincent

i can't let go - suki waterhouse

many lana albums come close to a 10/10, but there is always a small flaw that makes it a 9.5 at best

Kate Bush’s The Dreaming. Every track is a distinct landscape, but the album also has such strong core themes. All the raw anxiety of being human, with theatrical levity. Experimental, vulnerable, exciting, even funny at times :angie:

STOP I was just coming to say this, it's my favourite album, literally 10/10 tracks are completely perfect wouldnt change a single thing :cumming2:

Many of these are my favourites, but some aren't anymore, yet I still acknowledge that they are 10/10

Lana - Honeymoon

Lana - Ultraviolence

Lana - Born to Die (standard album)

The Birthday Massacre - Pins and Needles

Evanescence - The Open Door

Linkin Park - Living Things

Melanie Martinez - Crybaby (might not be one I listen to anymore but I can't deny it's perfection)

Trees of Eternity - Hour of the Nightingale

The Neighbourhood (self titled, before it was changed to Hard to Imagine)

Halsey - if I can't have love I want power

Twenty One Pilots - Blurryface

Avril Lavigne - The Best Damn Thing

I know that’s right!!!!! I feel like Hounds of Love has always dominated the conversation (not undeservedly) but The Dreaming is SO good in its own right… she had a bunch of tea, a synthesizer, and a dream :pussypower:

Even tho ocean blvd is my favourite Lana album, I think as an album AKA is her only truly perfect album . Like there's not a hair out of place on that album, the vibe was nailed, as a complete work of art I can't fault it. Whereas I can fault ocean blvd, it still speaks to my soul the most tho
