I have the feeling that neither Henry nor this album want to exist

the problem is that she announced this album way too early, probably trying to excuse herself after the “announcement” of lasso 

and now we are here with no informations

she just needs to keep her moof CLOSED until she gets the go ahead from her label of a 100% concrete date. other artists do not have this issue. as much as we all love her, lana IS the problem unfortunately and i do not get excited for projects until pre-orders go up anymore 

 

then again to still believe her in this day and age and acting shocked when it isnt true is on you atp she has done this with every album

Just to clarify, me potentially losing interest in the album isn’t the problem, Lana doesn’t know I exist and could care less, I just think Lana is the problem, like ultra mentioned above so much better than I ever could.

i honestly don't think we will probably get it until fall (at the earliest)  i just don't see it getting released in between her doing shows

I’m just getting a bit tired of waiting. Henry was teased just over a year ago, Tough was released in July, an unknown song was teased in June at her Boston show, and an old demo from 2017 was more or less confirmed to be on the album. Assuming all the songs will end up on the album, I just want to hear at least one to keep my interest up. I don’t care much for country music. Nothing of what I’ve heard so far sounds like song book-ish to me, but what do I know, I’m not American. I don’t know what southern gothic is meant to be aside from Ethel Cain’s Preacher’s Daughter album (which is thematically too dark for me to enjoy).

“Give Lana some time to cook”, well… I don’t want to sound like an impatient kid, I could honestly wait longer if she needs the time, I have other things and interests to keep my mind off of this album. But when she’s teased it for over a year and allegedly has been working on it for four-five years… I don’t know, I was just thinking it might’ve been enough time. Especially if she was ready to mention it. But I guess not. And this is nothing new, I know, she teases songs so often sometimes and I know it doesn’t necessarily mean anything, not regarding to releases. But it’s just… annoying lol.

I’m sorry if I’m whining, I don’t mean to bring down the mood, but I’m… just so disinterested this era. Kinda like I was for Chemtrails, which in hindsight isn’t that bad of an album. I was just bored with everything leading up to it. 

Yeah I get your point, I'm impatient too, but everytime I read always the same comments just with different months mentioned. Personally, I'll get excited when the preorders will be up on her store. Meanwhile, fortunately, there's other stuff I'm interested in the meanwhile, like other artists. Tbh I don't believe the "working on it four-five years" thing. 'Til I see with my own eyes, I don't take seriously everything they say. I'm still waiting for Cherry music video, watching White Mustang mv with TNBAR track as a replace and the 2 new singles before december. I just gave up on predictions about her and I must say it feels nice

The only prediction I'm sure about, is that at the beginning of the album we'll find out that the "right person" is actually Nikki Lane and every track is gonna be a ft. with her on lead and Lana as a producer like Snow on the beach

Jack said that’s not TRPWS, in an interview he said those songs aren’t going to revisited or going to be on the album, if I remember correctly. I can find my message where I mentioned it just give me some time lol

I’m not really sure, because she’s always got these, like, little planes on the tarmac, and some take off, and some don’t, and some take off and circle back around. A perfect example is that second half of “A&W” [the “Shimmy-shimmy koko-pop” rapping section]. That was around for a long time, and I kept feeling like “We’ve got to finish it,” but she knew … She’s an interesting person, we make a lot of things, and they live in different periods of time, and they grow and they change. I don’t mean to give an overly esoteric answer, but she’s an artist who is completely as she seems. There’s no fucking Oz there. Most of these people are as they seem.

 

I finally found it after scrolling for ages. But anyway, he didn't give a direct answer on if those songs will be on the album or not, so I remembered incorrectly on that part. But it sounded likely that those songs, and potentially, album isn't apart of TRPWS at the moment. Though this was a month ago, and a lot can change in a month
