Lana looked so much better during the OB era, than what she looks rn. Just look at the OB tour pictures and her recent pics. Her legs were so beautiful. She looks fcking GORGEUS in the candy necklace mv, even if she looked slightly overweight.

I know this is a tw for many ppl, and as a young woman nowadays, I always feel like I should look some specific body type, the ''thicc'' one, to be considered beautiful. I don't even know what Lana was thinking before losing so much weight, I hope it wasn't bc of comments online and shit.

Blue Skies is one of her best covers. So is Goodbye Kiss.

 

Riverside is perhaps her best featured song, I don't know why but it feels so her, even though she's not the main singer of it. The atmosphere of the song especially.

 

White Mustang/TNBAR music video is one of her best music videos, absolutely beautiful visuals.

 

LA To The Moon Tour is her best tour, the setlist of it was just absolutely amazing and I love how almost every show it was changed a bit to replace or add some songs.

 

Swan Song is perhaps her top 10 best songs lyrically, at least for me.

Not a Taylor fan but Snow on the beach is actually a good song and I love it very much, and the first version is better than the second- i love hearing Lana’s humming

what if i say that love is lana's best music video, or at least her best music video from her recent years. because look at those aesthetics, it's like an old-school sci-fi movie, the use of black & white and then colors. it makes me wish it was an actual movie. the promotional campaign was beautiful for this.

Idk if this unpopular or not but I also really love Beautiful People Beautiful Problems, it makes me quite emotional, I think it's a very touching song even more so if you compare it to where here state of mind was when she made the demo and I actually think her and Stevie sound  beautiful. I never see people talking about this song and if so they only say they sound like SpongeBob I do love the instrumental of one of the demos  as well though (Demo 2 or 3 I am not sure). It's sounds like she's a princess in space

In fact it's quite legendary that she got Stevie Nicks and Sean as features on LFL

Also I remember when I had the worst year of my life in 2018 I was listening to Beautiful People Beautiful Problems alot it was quite comforting and idk it just somehow helped me (like alot of her music) during that time so maybe I am biased when it comes to this song idk

I agree with all this but you can't say its the best mv in recent years when its release date is closer to born to die than today 

 

ur right about it being better than anything shes released nfr and after, which is already a low bar to begin with  but I also think LFL era visuals are some of her best in her career, dunno if thats a unpopular opinion (like the album trailer hello??)

Yeah, I doubted about writing "recent" as well because it's like 8 years old but I've seen many fans categorize LFL as part of the "new Lana" so idk I just went with that  LFL visuals were indeed really beautiful and one of the career best, out of all the Rich Lee directed Lana MVs, LFL era remains the best one.

Our scope of time is so skewed by covid and I don't think most of us are ready to admit how old these eras and albums really are  I agree with all your LFL sentiment, LFL has aged so well (especially since it was her last classic styled album) I guess you really don't know what you have till its gone

I love Swan Song too. I find Honeymoon too sterile overall, but Swan Song really hits the mark. It's moody, dusky, and perfect. Again, it's songs like Swan Song that make so much of NFR! seem unimpressive to me--though I agree it has a few brilliant songs.
