Unpopular Lana Opinions

Recommended Posts

Sadly have to agree. Creativity is lacking for videos even though I prefer Honeymoon musically.

Its not even creativity for me, Burning Desire is a very conventional music video, but its the good direction that makes it a good video. The HM videos are just weirdly executed (shaky camera footage, inexplicable black and white, cringe-inducing stock footage of literal pink flamingos, etc)

uhh... Ride is slightly overrated on here. Please don't kill me - it's a good song but y'all act like it's the epitome of songs. Cola is also overrated. Blue Jeans is in my top 3 Lana songs.

I see you.

"I've got a war in my mind" is still one of her best lyrics  :legend:

she won't depict escapism better than this. (probably)

not in art deco.

not in any one of her songs.

and not to mention this did pave the way for the writing on Flipside

Lol I happen to think Blue Jeans is overrated lol. I like Cola more than BJ but Ride beats them both. For me that is! Everybody is different.

I agree, Ride is kinda shit. I mean it was gr8 before we knew what she could really do in that poprock/live-esque genre. Once UV was out Ride started to feel like a Katy Perry leftover
