Has Kingdom Hearts even been available on Nintendo devices?

I'm not interested in KH but I definitely am in Red Dead Redemption 2 and I'm in the same situation... Wildly considering teaming up with my gamernut sister to buy a PS4 because she lives and breathes for The Last Of Us anyway, but she says that since it's Rockstar there's a very real possibility that they port it to PC as they did with GTAV. I also really love racing games and I think it's much more immersive on console so

But I wanted to say KH is gonna be a huge game and isn't the possibility that they do PS4 bundle packs for it very real? Probably more than the possibility they port to Switch tbh. If I were you I would wait a bit to see :)

The thing with Kingdom Hearts is that some (albeit smaller) entries were released on Nintendo platforms in the past, plus the director actually said that the game(s) might come to the Switch, but only once KH3 has been released on PS4 and XBO. Maybe it's just wishful thinking, but I think it's not too farfetched, especially after the announcement of all the Final Fantasy games that are coming to the Switch.

my dad says video games melt my brain :(((((

to be fair i have a game boy, ds lite, dsi, 3ds and a wii but as i got older (around 16) he said that i didn't need video games anymore. im pissed as fuck bc video games are art forms just like any other media but in hindsight i also saved a ton of money i can now spend on other things that i like more so... i guess that makes up for it?

at least im happy bc i got to play the whole professor layton series (+ the sequel) which is probably my favourite game ever!!

also video games in general remind me of when i used to go to my friend's house nearly a decade ago and play pokemon revolution and the wii default games i love those so much

and nerd boyfriend is goals but thats tea for another day

Tsah happy for you if it's the case but lucky you... Cuz as I stated countless times my biggest dream would be Wind Waker ported on Switch but to this point it's very unlikely :( It's on emulators but it just ain't the same. Super happy to know Final Fantasy are coming to Switch tho!!! The first console I ever owned was the GBA my cousin gave me and it had Final Fantasy I, Final Fantasy II, Narnia, Avatar The Last Airbender, and Harry Potter and the Philosopher Stone (these last two are fucking amazing games don't be fooled). And when I bought a DS, I bought FF III and IV and grinded them obsessively until I broke my DS. Still have the games in my basement. And two years ago I was missing FFI and FFII so much and I was so nostalgic of it that I got them on emulator and whew the emotion was intact. They're more than games to me they're still my favourites of the series

Oh, don't say that. I believe that it's only a matter of time until they port The Wind Waker HD and Twilight Princess HD to the Switch. I mean, they've ported so many Wii U games already, it would really surprise me if they skipped those two. I guess the only reason it hasn't happened yet is that until now they've pretty much focused on Breath of the Wild and its DLC.

I don't see TP being released to Switch in HD when it's already available for Wii U. It's only been 2 years since the release anyway, it's way too early for a Switch release in HD.

Sketching on some Zelda fan art right now, check my IG story. ♥

Praying that you're right hon! Since Bethesda has decided they weren't worthy of my money anymore I'm gonna give it all to precious innocent Nintendo instead

I don't see TP being released to Switch in HD when it's already available for Wii U.

That didn't stop them from porting Mario Kart 8, Pokkén Tournament, Hyrule Warriors, Bayonetta 1 + 2, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, Lego City Undercover, and New Super Mario Bros. U. I predict that they're going to keep porting Wii U games to the Switch in between the "big" releases, because the Wii U is definitely dead.

Regarding Zelda, I expect an HD version of Skyward Sword, a new 2D Zelda, and ports of TWW HD + TP HD (or at least one of them) in the foreseeable future, and a new "big" game in late 2020 or 2021.

Tea, I sometimes forget that it exists lol. :creep:

#JusticeForWiiU :icant:

But unlike the Switch, the Wii U lets me play my beloved NES, SNES and N64 games, as well as all the Zelda games they released for it, so I'm still glad I bought my Wii U back in the day. <3

This is interesting, because in 2021 it will be Zelda's 35th anniversary, which admittedly isn't particularly special, but they still made a lot of things for the 25th and 30th anniversary so that would be a good release occasion maybe. I don't expect the potential to come soon though, if they do I suspect they might come closer to the end of the Switch commercialisation life than to now :/ Urgh why am I a PC gamer. Still glad I bought a Switch and not U tho. And come thru SS HD, I would be so happy, this games holds sooooooooo many amazing memories for me and it would be amazing to see how they would learn from their mistake and replace the wii sword mechanic by something else and better

My first thought was "omg what no that can't be right" but then I immediately realized that you're right and now I feel old. :toofunny: But yeah, I really hope a major Zelda game will be relased in 2021 just how SS was for the 25th anniversary in 2011!

SIS ikr... When I realized SS was from two thousand eleven (2011) I nearly had a stroke. At the least it wouldn't be surrealistic to hope for a SS 10y anniversary remaster at this date :)

Omg, we could not even have to wait that long actually

I remember when I drew this in black in white with Fi in the background for a school project in my first year of high school. :defeated: Aaaaaand that was the beginning of me adding thousands of dots in my drawings...

OMG I'M SO STUPID, I read about the SS HD release on Twitter like last week!!

Wig, I didn't even realise there's gonna be another anniversary in 2021. The 25th one was great, whereas the 30th anniversary technically wasn't that special: Twilight Princess HD and the announcement that Breath of the Wild would finally be out in early 2017 LMAO. And I agree, I think it's gonna be another Wii situation: a Zelda game that's released simultaneously on the previous and the new console, and an entirely new and exclusive one at the end of the new console's life cycle. Because let's not forget that BotW is technically just a Wii U game.

I think it's also interesting that 2018 was the first gap year since 2012.

Just to clarify:

2011: Ocarina of Time 3D, Skyward Sword

2012: --

2013: The Wind Waker HD, A Link Between worlds

2014: Hyrule Warriors

2015: Majora's Mask 3D, Tri-Force Heroes

2016: Twilight Princess HD

2017: Breath of the Wild + two DLC packs

2018: --

Hmm technically HW isn't canon so I wound't count it. Whew 2015/17 was beyond iconic. HOLY FUCKING SHIT WW 2013????? I'm literally the oldest person on Earth

I know, I actually wasn't sure about including it in my list, but they promoted it a lot and kinda treated it like it was the Zelda game for that year, so I did. Obviously the 3DS and Switch versions are just straight-up ports with small improvements or additions, so I didn't count those. But yeah, I guess my point is that we're definitely gonna get something in 2019. :hooker:
