pinupgirls 1,056 Posted June 4, 2013 “I’ve never had a worse person on stage, always wants to hug and be with her fans and whenever she runs into the crowd we’re all afraid something will happen to her, but I love the way she sings and performs. If I were a fan, I would freak out if she ran into the crowd. But, as a security guard, I hate it and hate her doing it all the time.” - Lana Del Rey’s security guards

Tyler 841 Posted June 4, 2013 This is not surprising at all lol I can only imagine the amount of stress these guards are under during Lana concerts, and the fact that Lana couldn't give any less fucks about running around in the pit, kissing and hugging strangers.

DUKE 2,530 Posted June 4, 2013 It's not like she's making it easy for her security guard... But have you noticed how he smiles sometimes during the shows when he sees Lana with fans? He's even the one to take pictures and stuff.
Mileena 2,691 Posted June 4, 2013 as much as i loved seeing her, i did get mauled everytime she went slightly closer to the edge of the stage haha!
Hello Heaven 1,578 Posted June 4, 2013 When I was sat on the balcony at one of her shows I had this perfect view of the crowd throwing themselves and crushing everyone whenever Lana moved a step closer, it was insane! I even saw someone throw up directly below me and a couple of people got carried off. So yes, I can see how the security guards feel but they take it a bit seriously, they were never all going to be nice people though lol but I think they genuinely care.

VegasBaby 895 Posted June 4, 2013 I agree with the people on here saying the crowds are mental. I had to leave during National Anthem because I was getting seriously squished by some bloke behind me. I kept jutting my butt out to keep him from absolutely crushing me but he didn't take the hint... At least I got to the merch stand a bit earlier than most though.. 0 Quote Sweeping scents and blue hydrangea. Summer hail and summer stranger.
