It's SO good and I will not be convinced otherwise. Jesus fuck, the triumphant purple ending where she's carrying a giant leg bouquet as a symbol of victory I love the inspirations there, with the magic show and the old corny horror. And TFM throwback

 

This feels like the real beginning of ARTPOP. It's concrete. The imagery is there. I can't believe we're a week from the VMAs and two weeks from Swinefest, though...FUCK SHE'S BACK

I like it. For some reason I can't shake the feeling that Applause still isn't as good as her older songs like Paparazzi and Poker face, but maybe it's because it's not iconic like them (yet) and also her image has been tainted by Born This Way for me.

My goodness, I can't when people say anything bad about "Paparazzi."  It's like one of my favorite songs ever and I still don't know if Gaga is able to top that (at least to me). The beat, the vocals, the video, the single covers, all is perfect. Why would anyone want more?
