Honestly, i'll never get enough of combining the worlds of Lana Del Rey & Jay Z, because most times their records share such similar tones and attitudes. Anyway without further ado.....

 

 

Just based off a single day listen of Lana Del Rey's newest album Ultraviolence thats dropped Friday, we were hit with sudden inspiration. & Oh boy, this one's special. & The title says exactly what the song's about, Lana narrating the story of a dope boy's past of turning nothing into something. Which Jay instantly connects with because of his previous drug dealing past.

 

Florida Kilos will appear on Ultraviolence.

Now i still dont know who did this exactly, but what i do remember is around this time the moment i discovered Lana's music, which was the record "Off To The Races" to be specific, it was so captivating & inspiring that i had to do something with it. So one thing lead to another, and i ended up sampling it for JAY Z record titled "Allure" off his 2003 album "The Black Album". Afterwards i sent out to a few sites, and started receiving a lot of acclaim for it. Which was awesome. & Then the next thing i know, i look up, and its sitting right on the official tumblr of Interscope Geffen A&M. And the rest they say is history.
