Curves in here means having a waist, having a nice ass among other things. doesnt even relates to weight. curves here is shape. a skynni chick can have nice curves and a normal one can have not really nice curves. here curves are related to design of the body. Saggy or flaccid has nothing to do with curves or weight. My ex was kind of saggy in her belly and she was skinny. skinny chicks can be sagGy and over weight ones can not be saggy. I have no idea if curves to u mean someone with more weight or is just a nice way to call a girl with more weight. If I tell a girl she has nice curves means her body has a beautiful shape, design. Skinny, fat, normal all of them can have nice curves.

 

I think is depressive to assume that a coment on lanas belly or saggy body or not saggy can cause so much reaction. Says a lot about how vain most people are. Attack her character is ok but dont dare to say something about her looks

I feel like a couple of posts in this thread that are complimentary to Lana's weight are inadvertently saying that certain other natural body types are not "healthy", nor are they the types that "real women" have. I think it's great that there's an overwhelming show of support for Lana's body (it feels absurd to even write that ) but I don't think other body types need to be thrown under the bus to make the point. Healthy bodies and women's bodies come in a wide variety of sizes, heights, body types and weight. :3

 

Saying that you have to have a certain body type to be a "real woman" is ridiculous, I completely agree. If you were born with a vajayjay, then you're pretty much a woman, and that's that.

Wow guys she's put on a few pounds. I'm not going to lie, in some pictures, it's pretty clear. But come on, she's just been on a tour so she's probably been living off a lot of junk food and not had much time to work out.

And why the fuck are people defending Adele by shading Lana on a Lana Del Rey forum. We're supposed to support her here, not start picking up on little details like how she has a soft belly when it's pretty obvious Adele's fatter than Lana. It's not hate because I don't care if Adele's chubby, I still think she looks good - it's just a fact.

I tried hard not to be mean I really did. But I had to say it's really hard. The marshmellow body style (off white, rounded and soft) runs in the family LOL. I know I am a terrible human being. Yes I am. But that last picture is too much of a Sharpei style to not be comented. But the good thing is Lana doesn't care since she thinks she is the best thing God send  to earth to admire and be the only true musician on this blue planet. The flaming you got for saying this is really sad, to be quite honest. I hadn't even commented on this thread before because I had the exact same opinion as you and I just knew a wank fest would ensue if I actually said it. Unlike me, you weren't a coward - kudos for that.

 

When people start talking about someone else's body, they can't expect everyone to have the same opinion and only say complimentary things about it. If her current body type is a lot of people's ideal, it isn't mine, and that should be fine as well. It's not like anyone called her fat or otherwise insulted her. It's also not like we're talking about extreme thinness or promoting unhealthy ideals. It's just a preference - as in everything else in life, taste is subjective.

 

I know it's a touchy subject, but people should still be allowed to talk about it in different ways other than utter praise or hypocrisy. And I won't even get into the "real women" argument and the fact that all this "touchiness" usually only goes one way.
