watching black lagoon right now and im on episode 20. its good but this whole time i've been watching subbed..even though its kind of obvious that most of the time they're actually speaking english. and apparently the dub is really good too. i feel FOOLISH.....CLOWN-LIKE

the end of evangelion film is kind of a redo of the last two episodes. people usually acknowledge it as the canon/better ending but i appreciate both

i was 12 and it changed my life forever... it was the only anime (besides yoi) i'd seen until this past year-ish. theres nothing like it. whats crazy is that no one actually knows for sure who wrote death note but its one of the best narratives ever created IM TELLING YOU

the monthly updates of jshk (toilet-bound hanako-kun) are driving me crazy. the recent chapters have been a little heavy and the latest one was respite from all of those... it was long enough but the continuation isn't coming out until next month 🥹 when i started the manga i thought it was just going to be a series of stories about encounters with supernaturals. i didn't expect to end up in this rabbit hole.

black lagoon is definitely one of those anime’s where the dub is better. especially given how multicultural it is, so it feels more authentic for the characters in that aspect.
