Brooklyn Baby is definitly going more into the DMD and Lolita direction in a way that it seems to be a more "light" and less dark song as well as it features her very "girly" way of singing. I really like it, although I am usually more into her darker songs.

Almost thought that, but it was so tempting to say something about it ... pls forgive me

 

iTunes described the song as being "doleful," so I wouldn't expect something light.
