Not in public. But they're both women in showbusiness, they even already attended the same parties. Maybe Taylor met Lana and acted like "oh, are you that indie girl?" and Lana got mad since she thought her ideas was stolen lmao.

Come on. It's totally about Taylor. The girl even has a minute and a half long monologue at the beginning of her video, which then ended up winning "Best Female Music Video" as well as being nominated for "Best Music Video" at the MTV awards. Taylor completely copied Lana's concept (save for the epilogue - Taylor's ended with the song), and she also used Lana's ex boyfriend. We know how attached Lana is to her men.

 

While I'm not trying to stir shit, the connection is clearly there. It's stronger than any other connection people have tried to make - even the one incorporating Lady Gaga.
