annedauphine 35,917 Posted September 16, 2015 i'd rather have the forum spammed with scat porn than to listen to Guns and Roses My issue with GnR is that the first part of the verse is amazing, really excellent and then it all goes down in a split second after the 0:26 mark
Wynwood 19,967 Posted September 16, 2015 haven't listened to any of the leaks. but what direction do you want her to try for the next album? i want her to take a break from music and then make a huge comeback with a 1960s new wave album
Elle 121,311 Posted September 16, 2015 Guns and Roses>>>>Freak tbh For me personally, I agree with this. I was extremely underwhelmed with Freak compared to the snippet we had in the trailer. Now hearing the whole thing, I'm really disappointed and kind of let down because I expected a lot from it. I don't really like the production and the whole song is just kind of messy in my opinion. I love Guns and Roses, though. As repetitive as it may be, I think it's absolutely striking. The verses are beautifully written and her vocals in the bridge are indescribable.. It's easy to listen to and it's just so beautiful. It takes me somewhere else. I don't understand the hate for it, except I do know a lot of members here are bothered by choruses that are too repetitive. please don't hate me for my opinion, fellow Lana friends 11 • 4.18.14 • 5.1.14 • 9.20.14 • 5.28.15 • 6.14.15 • 7.28.16 • 7.24.17 • 10.23.17 • 10.24.17 • 1.25.18 • 2.5.18 • 12.5.18 • 10.3.19 • 10.11.19 • 11.16.19 • SF • ATL • ATL • IND • ATL • CHI • LDN • NYC • NYC • DC • ATL • NYC • PDX • SAN • KS
annedauphine 35,917 Posted September 16, 2015 haven't listened to any of the leaks. but what direction do you want her to try for the next album? Tbh, I'm ending up snatched with extreme violence everytime, I can't grasp this woman, it's always unexpected and insanely better than what I thought it'd be, she could record herself sleeping and I'd cry on it and buy 3 vinyls
GetFree 1,861 Posted September 16, 2015 haven't listened to any of the leaks. but what direction do you want her to try for the next album? I think the best thing she could do is become polarizing again and release an even more melancholic, psychedelic and raw Ultraviolence. damn that'd be the best thing ever, the queen of contrasts. 7 By the way, thanks for that, on the way, I'll pray for ya But you'll need a miracle America
viagra 1,642 Posted September 16, 2015 haven't listened to any of the leaks. but what direction do you want her to try for the next album? Surf rock with woozy guitars, 90´s dream pop - Mazzy Star-esque But I can see her going more into the direction of Honeymoon song - live instruments with minimum of electronic sound, orchestra, noir atmosphere ala Lynch. With Nowels being the main producer once again.

Wynwood 19,967 Posted September 16, 2015 i want her to take a break from music and then make a huge comeback with a 1960s new wave album I also want lana to come back dirtier than she ever was before i want the lead single from that album to be about her p***y and how it pleases her man and then 2 promo singles (one about midnight drives and the other about the first day of summer) and then i want her to give us a fake date to her new album but release it earlier so it doesnt leak and on the day she releases it she drives around LA with a biker gang on their bikes promoting her new album and handing out posters
t-raider26 912 Posted September 16, 2015 Freak literally gave me goosebumps my first listen. Especially the way it closes. The only other songs that have had that effect on me are Born to Die and Shades of Cool.

Omg, living for this in theory. I don't think it'd be this good for her wellbeing even though she screamed on every roof how proud and in love she was with UV, but I would adore some other rockish jazzy anthems to die and reborn in the haze of the dead of night

coltonhaynes 58 Posted September 16, 2015 Born to Die has a few outstanding songs of Lana´s career - VG, BTD, BJ, SS, OTTR - I consider them all to be one of the best pop songs of this decade. Unfortunately with big highs, deep lows come. Half of the album sounds so cheesy, immature and Haynie´s production ties up Lana´s beautiful vocals. What songs are the lows?? I swear if you say Without You, I will scream
