Swan Song high-key slays tbh... It was my least fave but now I love it.

 

I also love how this albums reminds of unreleased tracks. Like Honeymoon > that one unreleased song we are grateful to have but is a non-event and skippable, GKIT > KOL, Religion > Playing Dangerous etc I thought about others but I forgot lol

The Blackest Day would make an incredible Ride-esque video, it's got a clear narrative and some striking imagery, as well as being just a beautiful song.

 

Don't know if this has been discussed before, but the backing vocals after "ever since my baby went away" sound like a Greek tragedy/Greek chorus. Like wailing women or something. Am I crazy? Reminds me, in a vague way, of Madonna's Frozen video and the three witch-like Madonnas.

I was listening to Honeymoon while taking off in a plane and it was just lovely. We took off right as the "Ground control to Major Tom" line came on and it was a divine experience.
