Participating to this kind of event as an artist and not donating is absurd. Not mentioning it or telling the amount of money is being humble imo. The purpose is to cheer up ill kids and encourage people to donate, volunteer or get involved in their community or in a cause, to help people who are in a shittier position than more privileged people. I can't imagine her doing it for publicity.
