I have a general list, and it's always on shuffle, so here is a list. I have other Lana playlists too, maybe I will share it later.

Okay, I tried to make an alternate version of Born to Die, sort of what it would have sounded like in a parallel universe if EH hadn't intervened. (Not that I don't like the final result; I love it, but sometimes I overplay it and need a fresh take on it.) So I put demo versions of all the songs in the same order as the BTD tracklist (well, with a live version of OTTR). And I kinda liked it, but lost interest quickly.

 

But then I decided to mix it up, and add songs that sound like they could have been intended for BTD, and here is what I came up with!

Any ideas about where to place Summer Wine? I have it as a single so far because it doesn't fit in any of my fan albums. I mean, it could easily go with the collection of Lizzy tracks, but that's just wrong. It's not pop. It's too downtempo to go with Kinda Outta Luck, Back to tha Basics, etc.--but too sweet and happy to go with the sadcore tracks.

Right now I've put it at the end of my Hollywood Playaz mix (after a :06 silent track, like an epilogue), and I plan to add Y&B in a couple days. Once there's enough "singles," I'll put them in a new playlist.

Glad this thread is still active!

 

Like some others, my playlists just collect leaks/unreleased. So no overlap with BTD:TPE, AKA, Sirens, or God Bless America, except for some interesting demo variants. No thematic groupings, just a helluva lot of diversity. The one below is my favorite because of the slow acoustic songs, which I like to spread out as interludes. I have two other playlists (another 110 mins) and so would buy her next 5 releases sounds-unheard on the strength of these leaks. I would also buy the leaks, if she ever produced them. My favorite transitions:  Dum Dum immediately followed by Live or Die sounds like she's accelerating into a new but related song. Axl Rose Husband / Last Girl on Earth, so utterly different, yet they seem related to me. Wish I could have crossfaded those.

I'm thinking of doing something like "Dreamland" using that shoot and the three new tracks we've gotten post-Paradise. For wishful thinking that she'll give us more.

A good idea. I rearranged so much of my American Dream playlist to fit Chelsea Hotel No. 2 in there, though. Maaaan :icant:

Although is Ooh Baby alright after Summer Wine? Not particularly offensive, but maybe I should move Back to tha Basics there or something.

I love those happy accidents :D

 

KOL --> ST --> SW --> OB has a good flow. I'd leave BTTB right where it is (good buffer between FD & PL).

well basically i'm thinking of re-arranging all of mine so i wanted to know what everybody else has named their unreleased albums and or playlists.

 

my unreleased albums are called dope tropico, motel heaven & trailer park heaven. i've not actually created any playlists but i'm thinking of making some themed ones.

I only have one file of unreleased stuff and then I just have aka demos, btd demos, instrumentals, acapellas, lizzy grant live etc but I make themed playlists which I'm looking on extending to making covers for and putting in my library (I've already made tracklists) but I'm not sure if I want to do that yet and in the meantime I just make the title a song title that sounds fitting.

I have one called Trailer park sunshine, it consists of kinda poppy songs. Back to tha basics, st. Tropez etc..

Unreleased, btd demos, btd outtakes, aka demos, instrumentals, that's pretty much it for me.

Plus I changed the order of volume 2 because I think Us Against the World and Summer of Sam need a buffer. Of course, that means I sacrificed the buffer between Fake Diamond and Puppy Love that PB praised :ohno:
