but I do love alot of melanies music and I think she gets alot of hate. Its a shame cuz alot of the hate she gets is justified and she couldve done alot more with portals as an era and album than what she ended up doing

 

portals had the opportunity to be her best but she let it b her worst and now knowing were not getting any more music for another few years my love for melanies music is lowk fading away

I don’t think it’s necessarily bad per se, but it’s a little more basic than the demo.
 

Idk, there’s something sooo calming about the first Death, it’s somehow a ballad but manages to get u into the spiritual feel and I think it would work great as an opener or a closer. Also I think the uptempo repetitive chorus and rock instrumental doesn’t match the theme of the song. It goes on for a little too long and it gets boring after the second verse, while the demo keeps my interest for longer and puts me in the mood for a fairy like storytelling 

 

but that’s just my opinion

Now this is the kind of Melanie I loved! She wore colorful hair & clothing that reflected her music well, was very humble, wrote great music with just a guitar, kinda bitchy and annoying but knew what she wanted, and actually had a good voice that doesn’t crack and shrill every 5 seconds. She used to be perfect in my eyes
