The bridge in Gingerbread Man might be the best thing ever that happened to me

After a few listens I must say the songs with more replay value for me are Sympathy is a knife, Apple, B2b and Von Dutch 
 
Sympathy is a Knife specially reminds me of Gone a lot! And that’s my favorite Charli song so… my only critique it’s that it feels too short, and with that instrumental and melody it had potential for a nice slowed toned down bridge and an explosive outro! Other than that it’s a masterpiece

I'm not holding my breath for this album to turn out to be decent...
Its very clear to me this album is more about appearances, bringing the "old Katy back" and restoring her brand / cultural image as a sexy pop girl.
Theyve definitely spent a ton of time, budget, etc. planning out the era with high polish visuals and social media stunts to get people talking about her again.
 
Whats so ironic though is the Dr. Luke thing has really backfired on her in a way that most of the mainstream artists that work with him seem to usually get away with.
It doesn't look like its something she will be able to escape and is really hurting her rollout at least in the circles I follow. 
I dont think it would have been nearly as bad if Kesha hadnt also just released her comeback single revolving entirely around being free from Dr. Luke...
 
Only time will tell I guess if this will turn out to be another JLo flop hate train situation or if Katy can survive it but a really great hit single would definitely distract the general public at least from the controversy.

Woman's world is kinda boring, sounds like something I've heard like million times a few years ago, maybe dark horse vibes 

What I find funny is that people still find the energy to have the same conversation about Dr. Luke over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again. ALL of this has been discussed ad nauseum every single time Kim Petras has released a song over the past 5 years. Every time. The music lovers have their argument, the Kesha stans have their argument and no one changes the other one's mind. We can talk about it again for the 9 millionth time but it will amount to nothing once again.
I believe Katy knew she will cause a conversation with her actions and that was part of why she agreed to work with Luke again, other than the fact that they clearly had a good working relationship.

the katy hate train is really weird to me cuz the reason is she made a song with dr luke? what about doja? or nicki? any of the massive hits hes produced for the past 5 years that nobody cared he had a hand on? 
 
to me ppl are hopping on a hate train bc its fun and use dr luke to appear as if they have a moral highground to do so. 
 
also its completely ridiculous to say katy is copying KESHA of all ppl. 1) nobody would be stupid enough to do that while working with that man 2) katy is desperatly trying to be relevant again and no offence to kesha but she hasnt had a hit in like 10 years and nobody even heard of gag order
 
i think she song is trash and deserves to flop, but the hate and katy as a person is just kinda unfair

Madonna doesn't need to do shit anymore, she's paid her dues and has solidified her status long ago. She's old, she's free to do whatever she wants this far into her life and career whether people think it's relevant or not.
