A lot of people on Twitter and Instagram were saying they couldn't post anything because they were told they'd be kicked out if they did. There's no need to be hateful when people who are literally working the show are claiming that they're showing it but other people are claiming they were told they're not. graham4anything 2,859 Posted March 18, 2017 sxsw is the ultimate promo thousands and thousands of music industry/writers.radio (college radio, internet radio, regular radio) from all of the world converge to Austin once a year for decades. you ask for promo this is promo reason tix are so expensive (PLATINUM IS $1650 USD) is it is a huge long festive (10 DAYS) (and don'tforget that half of it is film industry and half is music) This year March 10- 19. (Music part started 13th). and tix are sold months and months in advance, before any talent is even known. (Platinum is $1650 US) It is not meant for fans. (though anyone can purchase, and even if one had to have music industry credentials all one has to do is put writer and a school name and sign it. Doubtful anyone actually checks if the proper funding is included (doubt the people running it would return anyones money) LOL 0 Lana is our modern day Edith Piaf. Totally unique. a mixture of Brian WIlson Roy Orbison, Leonard Cohen, Gram Parsons, Elton & Bernie. Born to Die/Paradise is comparable to Elton's Captain Fantastic.
