i think that's how they pronouce it in the uk, and we know she was living in london for sometime, so that would explain it!

omg that sucks lmao, i feel like the second listen is way better than the first anyway. the first listen is exciting but you don't really process anything, but by the second listen you have a clear idea of the sound and melodies and what to expect and you kind of know what you like, but at the same time you can't quite remember how it sounds, so it still feels like the first time except it's more familiar. i love the second listening experience, definitely the superior

I still don't know why people are so convinced that the album is not coming next month. She said the date and that she wanted to keep this release lowkey and almost a surprise so it makes sense we don't have that much info yet

I don’t mean to be nit-picky, but if I may for just one sec: does anyone else hope the mastering and engineering on this album is better than NFR? There’s something about NFR that just sounds slightly “tinny” to me.

actually I was kind of shocked when I noticed that kansas and arkansas sounds completely different lol

omg same here! but I looked it up and this came up: Arkansas was named for the French plural of a Native American tribe. Since the letter "s" at the end of French words is usually silent, we pronounce it "Arkansaw." Kansas is named for the Kansas River, which is named for the Kansa tribe. It's the English spelling though, so naturally, we pronounce the final "s."

OMG yeah I have no idea what it is about NFR but the album sounds off to me like California is gorgeous but the way the track sounds really puts me off
