evil how can you be this organised ? once i tried to find a post i made 3 months ago and i gave up after 1 hour of intense research.

I'm just good at making use of the Advanced Search function. When I want to find an old post, I try to remember some relatively unique word that would have been in the post. In this case, I had a vague sense I had joked about the conspiracy theory that Courtney Love killed Kurt Cobain once or twice. So I just searched for all the posts made by me where I used the word "Courtney". Simple as that.
