I have to say Yayo, I thought it was so perfect on No Kung Fu (it was so raw and beautiful) but on paradise I could barley listen to it, there was so much unnecessary vocalizing ("put my on to you black motorcycle" just sounded horrible!) I just feel like it sounded much better on earlier versions.

Why does that matter though? Her cover is a lot more orchestral than some of the older versions and in my opinion she's really put her own spin on it. Not trying to be rude, I just don't really see how it being a cover should impact ones judgement.

I felt really similar at first, but they really grow on you I'd say they take a few days or even more to charm you (or maybe I'm a late bloomer). Of course they might never, but I can relate to feeling a bit let down at first, that feeling just completely disappeared now.
