I would hope that it is a Christmas classic that will showcase her voice. If she does something new and it's slow the non Lana audience will probably tune out. As much as I may tease her she is a pro and I'm sure it will be fine. Congratulations!

I hope it is a well produced record with full orchestration. We will probably get IPhone on the living room floor vocals with some added piano and an occasional cat. (with mask on)

Unfortunately I don't really love this. It sounds like a one take acapella where she goes off the original melody. The tone is too high or screechy if that makes sense. Then it is merged with a well produced section of male voices. Doesn't mesh that well. I think there was more potential than was realized. Don't worry I'm not jumping ship.

There is nothing wrong with having "controversial" opinions. There is nothing wrong with challenging those opinions. I know. The best thing about the album coming out is that after a while of promotion, reviews, YouTube videos etc. she'll go back in to hibernation and we can rest easy for a while.
