Well cheating on your mother with your father is a mommy issue, to her. To the world it's still a daddy issue. Lana's relationships are complex to say the least.

The album cover and the lyrics are not as important to me as Lana's voice!! She has some great lyrics and some clunky ones. Rhymes that you need to hold your breath and close your eyes to hear. But beyond all that is her God given voice. Obviously she is singing so her voice is showcased but I wish maybe they had a person brought in, a vocal coach or second producer just to focus on having Lana's voice shine through on every song. Not just tweak it in the studio but focus on it like it's an instrument. What do I know. I just found this and am moved. take a listen. Maybe not the correct thread but enjoy anyway.

You know what I would like? It's just a dream. In this dream the record is actually released on Sep 5th. (4th?) Up to that point there are no musical releases, snippets, teasers, videos, acapella etc. Maybe some more confirmations from Lana and Interscope. Maybe some photos, outtakes from a record cover or just new era ideas Lana is sharing. Can you imagine the excitement counting the days down to the release having not heard anything? Although Lana can make a mess of a lot of things I have complete confidence in her commitment to recording. Even if I don't LOVE the whole album there will definitely be multiple tracks that I do. Ahhh what a dream , no messes no self created drama just Lana's beautiful voice. Don't wake me till September.

I would have advised against posting anything as Lana can't seem to tie her shoelaces before she walks. It was unfortunate that the tangled web she weaved for herself happened just before George Floyd's murder. In reality Lana's psycho drama pales in relation to what happened to Mr. Floyd. She may take some heat or some love now on social media but the media in general will not pick up on it because it is not that important. THE TRUTH IS CNN, THE NEW YORK TIMES, THE WASHINGTON POST, FOX NEWS 60 MINUTES ETC. ARE NOT BEATING A PATH TO LANA DEL REY'S DOOR TO GET HER OPINION ON THIS!!!!!! The idea that her posting or not is somehow important in the grand scheme of things is absurd. She is another high profile person who has a louder voice than we do but her making a post is not going to raise the consciousness of the culture. I will still buy her records and see her in concert.
