golden hour is top 10 of the year, every song is flawless. highly recommend her earlier work as well, it's a bit more cynical than golden hour but songs like Merry Go Round and Follow Your Arrow (the latter of which features a chorus about being gay... she won) (both links go to youtube official videos btw) are drags at hypocrisy and the problems with morality plaguing a lot of rural america right now, so glad i found out about her.

for what it's worth allie was very clearly aware of the fact the cx2 release date was ridiculous, probably wasn't set by her. she held the streaming party + gave out vinyls early on purpose and we all know why. i wouldn't be surprised if the same thing happened here, i suspect label foolery personally. at least this confirms Little Things as probably being the September single, wonder what will come in October if one will come at all.

this time she better do a tour with more us stops than the vulnicura tour.

didn't the merch site say it was shipping in august/early september? i hope the album arrives late september honestly.

not y'all pretending glam or i take it back or worth a spot on an 8 track ep. very interested to hear how this thing flows because as it stands i can't imagine focus being that good of a closer with its current ending, alexandra prove me wrong. edit before posted: actually i mean it COULD work but honestly i'd even say NSBILA could work as a better closer just to tie the record's concept off. kinda am wishing for an extended outtro or something exclusive to the ep after focus just to leave it feeling a little more conclusive. it IS a mini project before cx3 tho so i'm not totally upset at the concept of an intro and interlude on it, as long as they're brief and work to make it more cohesive and flowing. girl of the year is such an awkward title, hoping it slaps as much as people say it does. interested about can't stop now as well, not listening to any audio of either before studio cuts drop out of respect since it's probably going to be early september.

but is it worse than one of the 2 throwaway interludes on the album? i don't think so i still love a lot of badlands but even some of it (new americana is unlistenable for me nowadays except for the bridge) is not holding up too well. i think lie is gonna age even more poorly than it already has

bought the signed cd instantly, don't care if it's an ep or "full" album. would've bought one for unsolved just the same. that being said i'm SHAKEN! like i'm here for it. the visuals look interesting and i'm super excited to see what the other tracks are, (assuming there are any, i hope it's more than 4 songs) besides science and little things. wonder if this will have a title track?

honestly like i wish she'd do something similar to how the reputation tour is run where there's a free song slot for each show that gets shuffled between some fan favorites and obscure cuts and tracks that she doesn't want to do every tour stop so that way we could have new renditions of some songs. hoping that 40 songs rehearsed will pan out over the tour

legit if she performed Future Forever even just once i'd be happy. i think i remember it being on the rehearsal setlist but her not doing it? idk prove me wrong also amazed she's not performing even an abridged version of Body Memory
