miss americana is the BEST... so it goes of this album. album's probs a mid 7 to 8 from me atm? i only wasn't really clicking with 3 tracks. hopefully it grows on me even more

honestly i sitll can't believe that the Unsolved songs (especially Alexandra) got paid such dust like. i wish she had basically done a studio version of Alexandra in the style of the live version she did long before the official was even announced. Too Much to Dream wouldn't need much to be fit for CX2 (and for good reason, as it's perfection), Purge would honestly probably do well with production a la TLIV or even Downtown, i don't quite know how All the Rage would translate and i could honestly see Misbelieving just being released without an updated production. (the final one we have... no thank you) wasn't Alexandra one of the core songs for CX2's original version? like wasn't "longing" for the "shadow self" the anchor for the whole concept?

i think either she's gonna stylistic pivot as this is the end of the "ambient trilogy" or we're gonna get a continuation of the sound with a different overall instrument and a less cheery sound. maybe she'll go back into her nature-inspired works more a la biophilia

Hope is one of her best songs overall and the single cover is fitting in a way i can't put into words
