Wild thought for you: people are more than their political beliefs.
To narrow a whole complex human being down to just this one aspect is an incredibly narrow-minded way of thinking.

And this is precisely my point - Lana has never displayed anything but kindness and support for her trans fans, and has said absolutely nothing to suggest otherwise.
She’s not liking his content and she’s not condoning it. Yes she could say something, and invite a discourse and an unwanted fan base, but the only people associating the narrative with her, with no supporting evidence that this her sentiments on the subject, is her own fan base who expect her to have some accountability for someone else’s actions. And that’s why I said it’s deranged to judge her by his standards as if they’re suddenly one and the same because they’re married. 

Maybe it's a bit of an exaggeration, I think he's just a simple family man. Even if he has a certain political attitude and has liked a few wrong posts, that doesn't mean he's very political. His posts on Facebook actually look quite normal, not necessarily like he's out in full force supporting Trump or spreading any views.

So Marilyn Manson meets the standard of moral integrity that Lana does not? I hate to be the one to tell you but-

I feel like I have to point this out since, from reading your posts, you seem to be someone with a strong moral instinct - but you do know that Marilyn Manson is a known abuser, right?  So it’s not like listening to him is better than not listening to Lana lol. 

Well, he is a redneck. I don't mean that as an insult; he just literally is. So it would be more surprising if he weren't a Trump supporter, as that's the norm in the rural South. I bet his family and friends are shocked he's marrying a Los Angeles celebrity, pretty much the most liberal people in the US. They are from polar opposite worlds, so they must feel it's worth it. Maybe they don't talk about politics. Maybe they agree to disagree. Maybe they talk about it a lot, and they have found common ground. She's been so private about him that she clearly doesn't want to share anything publicly, perhaps bc of exactly the kind of criticism we're seeing here.

Hero worship will always leave you disappointed. Hopefully she makes more good music, bc that’s all she is to me; an entertainer who makes music that I like. I could not care less about her as a person

Ok I’m like over the initial shock (finally) and I can say I hope she’s happy even though I don’t support that man in particular I support her and her happiness so I hope she found it <3 and she looked absolutely beautiful! That’s all I have to say at this point because I made my stance clear in previous posts but I do want people to know I support her for sure, just not Jeremy’s views. I agree we should lock this thread cause it’s just the same argument being had over and over. It’s not worth it to keep it open imo!

I’m sorry but can this woman do anything? She got married and all I’m seeing is people here talking about abuse and how they hate her husband, and the only things I’ve seen online are invasive pap drone pics of her wedding and pregnancy speculations. Some people need to grow the fuck up

To be fair, I think fans are allowed to be disappointed that she married a Trump supporter but I feel like she’s made it obvious where she stands the last year. She’s at least pretty tolerant of Republicans. What I love about this all is that she really does not care about her celebrity or what people say or think. It’s admirable. 
 
But aside from that I hope she is happy and that this works out for them. Lana is so random and messy so this isn’t surprising but still shocking because it all happened so fast. At the end of the day we don’t know Lana and honestly barely know what she’s really been through in her life because she’s so private and only shared tidbits of her experiences. 

again, maybe if yall stop praising your faves for every single thing and putting them on higher pedestals, yall wouldn’t let anything (good or bad) they do get to yall. i promise yall will be okay if she stays with him. pls touch grass  stay in your place AS A FAN! you do not know Lana personally, and you don’t know her man personally. I’m not a Trump supporter. I’m not even American. I hate that vile man with a passion. My point is, you can’t choose the views of those closest to you. Any one of my brothers would have reposted the same things as Jeremy and despite it I love them to pieces. It is not always simply the case of cutting people out of your life for their opposing views. What do you think her brother’s opinions are? What about the guys in her band? Does everyone have to pass an interview round? Because the people around you have horrible views it does not mean you will adopt them. 

Reading some of the precedent pages and - some of you seriously need to go out and breath some fresh air. I don't wanna sound rude, but all this talking about him, some wishing them the divorce or saying it's "destined to end" bringing up examples of other couples is simply SICK. 
 
It's her own fucking life, she knows what she's doing. Not everything is black and white, remember that we know very few of him AND of them as a couple.
 
Then, she married this man thinking about HER happiness, not her fans'. There was a reason if she wanted to keep this private...she's surely aware that her actions have an impact on those who follows her but maybe she suppose that most of us use our brain cells. 
 
Also, for those worrying that listening to her will make him rich...she most likely made a pre-marriage contract, she's not stupid. Her family and managers 100% adviced her to keep her money safe, in case anything might go wrong.
Assumptions like this are so childish and stupid. I'm sorry because I don't wanna sound rude but some things that I read here made me really angry.
 
Just remembered to separate the ART from the ARTIST. Just listen to the music if you don't agree with her decisions or opinions, but let her live her happiness now.
