Minor General Questions that Don't Deserve Their Own Thread

If you take every artist in the Entertainment section and add up their total album sales, it probably still won't compare to ABBA's album sales.
-
Supposedly it's not coming out until this fall at the earliest. There's speculation that they're releasing an album now instead of just 2 singles, hence the extra year between the original release date, but we'll see.

ABBA is a Swedish disco-infused pop/rock band consisting of the Agnetha Fältskog, Anni-Frid Lyngstad, Björn Ulvaeus, and Benny Andersson. Together, they created some of the most iconic and beloved songs of all time including the undeniable hits Honey Honey, I've Been Waiting For You, S.O.S., Mama Mia, Fernando, Dancing Queen, Money Money Money, Knowing Me Knowing You, Take A Chance On Me, Voulez-Voulez, Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! A Man After Midnight, I Have A Dream, Super Trooper, and, the greatest breakup song of all time, The Winner Takes It All. Just seeing the titles strikes internal melodies and a need to boogie. Through the years, their music has inspired the acclaimed Broadway musical Mama Mia, as well as 2 films, Mama Mia! (2008) and Mama Mia: Here We Go Again (2018) Their contribution to music has not been lost thanks to acts such as Kylie Minogue and Madonna paying homage to the band throughout their careers. Despite the notion that "disco sucks" and "disco is dead" stated by fans of the metal community (and the DISGUSTING user Terrence Loves Me) ABBA's 1992 compilation album Gold: The Hits has outside nearly every rock and metal album in history, and debuted during an era described by many as the death of metal. In April 2018, they announced that, after a 35-year hiatus, they would be returning to the music scene. Their double A-side singles, I Still Have Faith In You, and Don't Shut Me Down are scheduled to be released in 2019. Discuss why you are thankful for their music below

I haven't tackled much DC or Marvel because of how intertwined their series are and how much material there is. I'm happy to meet another Batgirl fan!!! Rebirth is my favorite and Stephanie Brown is my favorite Batgirl; I still need to check out her Spoiler character some more. II just recently started trying to get a complete Batgirl comic collection. I'm only on Cassandra Cain and the newer series (not even attempting at older stuff because a lot it is too expensive) but it's been fun collecting again. America is the Marvel one! The Guild is based around pc gamers and is pretty cool, like a lot cooler than it sound lol. It's based off a youtube series if you want to check that out. There are some things on your list I want to check out, just need to wait for some of the current series I'm reading to come to an end. Collecting gets expensive I'm actually about to leave to go to a local comic shop and buy some more things lol.

Our most popular movies the past decade have been based on comics, so it's a pretty big thing in pop culture. Some people view comics as things for children, but most comics I've seen recently have been more adult based and are more acceptable as an art form than in the past. Here's what I've been reading the past year America Batgirl Bingo Love Bitch Planet Bitter Root Exorsisters Faith Ghost World Hack/Slash Jook Joint LumberJanes Gotham Academy Man-Eater Moon Girl & Devil Dinosaur Moonstruck Motor Crush Ms. Marvel Paper Girls Saga Self Made The Silencer Snotigrl Squirrel Girl Tank Girl The Guild Unnatural I highly suggest Unnatural, Bitter Root, Jook Joint, and Exorsisters. They all started last year so they should be easy to catch up on Imagine Comics has been releasing the best stuff the past few years. If you want to start reading, I suggest literally anything by them you think looks interesting. More classic comics, like Batman, Captain America, Spiderman, etc. have so much back material that I can't even attempt to start. Batgirl is already hard enough to keep up with.

This reminds me of when the AKA vinyls started popping up and some of y'all swore they were real even though the sound quality was shit, they used Rey instead of Ray, and there was no way they even existed -

this is probably the closest thing http://lanaboards.com/index.php?/topic/473-lanalysis-relating-songs-to-knownassumed-relationships it was more than likely a mix of dating someone older when she was too young, off and on again relationships (or off & on again hookups) cheating, and maybe polyamory. -
I downsized my library massively. I used to have over 100 albums but I'm trying to not be such a well organized hoarding mess anymore. I took out all the remixes, compilations, instrumentals, and live albums (excluding The Early Shows, I may add a couple of live albums in the future with my fav. performances from each era... we'll see) I'm still not sure how I feel about some of the covers, or some of the track lists, but it's a start to a more organized and less cluttered iTunes.
