I think the remix album is gonna be (mostly) old remixes anyway? My impression was that it's gonna be something à la Club Future Nostalgia where it's basically a bunch of great remixes turned into one huge DJ mix... which honestly would be amazing! The Confessions-era remixes alone, wheww!

She's serving lewqs in the new Frozen remix video! I love the editing and how some elements from the classic video are incorporated.

Did u still try ordering? Because I did (not from the UK either) and it seems like my order went through without any problems. Ended up being £ 21.99 overall for the CD + the poster due to shipping and VAT, but I also really wanted that poster lol.

Not listening to the leaks (or any more singles/pre-release tracks, for that matter), but based on y'all's descriptions of those songs (demos?), this is going to be an amazing album. Y'all better have your CDs and vinyls preordered so Ms. STD makes some coin!

Somehow I missed the voting process and most of the songs that made it onto the tracklist aren't exactly my favourites, but this looks gorgeous and still seems like a really cool project, so I backed it anyway. Hopefully it actually comes to fruition! If it does, can we make a vol. 2 with all the 2010/2011 bops?

Oh don't get me wrong, they both definitely have their moments and I'm glad we have them! 2099 for example is one of my absolute favourites from her entire discography even though the whole point of that song is basically "Charli, a twink, and lots of futuristic computer/car sounds" snsjnsjsj.

So much HOT tea today! Also, agreed with the people who expressed their hope that Charli has moved past PC Music/hyperpop and shouldn't go back there (at least not for the foreseeable future). I would even go as far as saying that with Vroom Vroom, Number 1 Angel and Pop 2, she pretty much did everything she could with those genres; most of Charli and HIFN felt rather reductive in comparison for a reason.

She's right and she should say it. Also, bop!

New song is a bop. It's weird tho, it's not very "Banks", yet unfortunately it's the only new song I really enjoy so far.

Good thing I hadn't booked a flight and hotel for my Berlin date yet. I guess I understand the decision, but the communication (or lack thereof, really) from Allie and her team is awful; I haven't received an email and she hasn't posted about it or anything. If it wasn't for places like this, I'd have no idea and would probably just assume that the tour is going ahead as planned.

The Perfectionist era was so exciting, she was so different... I really thought she was gonna be THE next big thing. I still think Mirrors is one of the best pop songs of the 2010s.

What's this obsession with locking threads some of you have? Don't you think it's better to have a place where the discourse is happening and where you can educate others about what's going on rather than basically just pretending it doesn't exist? Sounds rather counterproductive to me, regardless of your opinion on Kim and the EP. Although I am obviously aware of Kim's connection with Dr. Luke and think she should be held accountable for choosing to continue working with him – especially because she's truly talented and honestly wouldn't need him to succeed – a lot of what's going on in this thread right now seems like bandwagon hate to me. Obviously you're right in calling her out, but I hope those of you who are so determined to boycott Kim Petras' music don't ever stream Since U Been Gone, Behind These Hazel Eyes and My Life Would Suck Without You by Kelly Clarkson, Who Knew and U + Ur Hand by Pink, Girlfriend and Hot by Avril Lavigne, I Kissed A Girl, Hot N Cold, California Girls, Teenage Dream, Roar, Dark Horse and Unconditionally by Katy Perry, Circus, Till The World Ends and Hold It Again Me by Britney, Party In The USA and Wrecking Ball by Miley Cyrus, Where Have You Been by Rihanna, Primadonna and How To Be A Heartbreaker by Marina, and Need To Know and You Right by Doja Cat; not to mention songs written or produced by other artists employed by his publishing companies. Because I'm pretty sure those songs earn him a lot more money than some Kim Petras tracks that nobody outside of Stan Twitter and LanaBoards even knows of.

Science is a career highlight and Girl Of The Year is pretty great too, but the rest of Super Sunset... no thanks. Still by far my least favourite Allie X project.
